Modern Nail in Fayetteville, NC

Went in wanting just simple Holiday nails and they came out horrible wanted a stripes like a candy cane and she couldn't do that so I said forget it and she was persistent that I get a flower on my finger that I paid $5 for. They aren't painted all the way to tops on nails either. Overall would not go back. that silver nail was supposed to be white and I kept telling her white and she said WHITE so I gave up.

I think that the nail technician who worked on my manicure could have done a better job, he was not gentle, rushed to be done with me and I didn't like the result at all.
I am not going back there again.

Prices have sky rocketed. There is no way my fill in with gel polish (a basic set without design) cost $70 and then the lady messed my eyebrows up made them way too thin and I used to come here all the time and they used to do a good job but she really messed my eyebrows up and they are uneven and when I told her that they were messed up she did not even apologize she shrugs her shoulders and tells me to pencil them in.

I use to go and the nail tech Sam use to do my nails. He moved to Texas and I was sad but I enjoyed going to modern nails so I said I would try a new tech. First time with a different tech not so please but ok....went back again tried Ken he did a BEAUTIFUL job but my nails came off (whole) as if they were press-ons....I thought maybe it was because I got them a little longer then usual and just wasn't use to them.... so I went back again...this time it was a new tech I e never seen... he did a beautiful job and he has patience which I loved because Sam took his time and always satisfied me.... So it kind of reminded me of the good days and I walked out pleased and excited (I wish I knew the new guys name because he did great)... The only complaint is not even two weeks in and I already had at least 7 (whole) nails that had fallen off. You know I asked around people said the gel powder they used could have been old the first time it happened but I was in denial. The second time this happened and less the two weeks in things didn't change.... I started to accept the fact that I just need to move on and find a new spa for my feet and nails. Sad but also over it! We get charged the same price seems about with a full set or even a full in with a broken nail and I NEVER complain about it... but I decided to today to complain m because I spend way too much money as a loyal customer. So unfortunately I would not return. I gave it so many chances kinda sad to go but it's best I find a new spa to call home.

Do not recommend. I went there for a fill and toe polish and was charged $70. I asked why, and the response was $50 for my nails and $20 for my toes. So I called the salon after I left, and was told it's $35 for a fill, so that got over on me. Then went again because everywhere else I went was crowded. I got my toes polished and was charged $25 this time. So their prices are not consistent. They will get over on you.
