N. Taylor Nails & Spa in Stoughton, MA

I would never recommend this place to anyone! I went there in late Nov 2022 for a pedicure and was coaxed into a gel manicure. It was awful and my fingers felt like cement for weeks. I went back to have the gel nails removed and It was hasty and not done well at all. I asked for only a manicure after the gel nail removal. The hard gel was still roughly layered on my nails which were totally weak, brittle and ruined!! The manicure lasted all of 2 days! It is now Jan 2023 and my nails are worse than ever and extremely weak, breaking and the nail bed is still rough and horrible. My nails are very unhealthy and I'm extremely upset. The nail beds are bruised, brittle and sensitive to the touch. These people should be out of business and the BBB notified. AVOID THIS PLACE is the best advice I can offer. I have no idea when or if my nails will recover. Extremely unsatisfied!!!

So bad I'm pretty sure the owner did my nails she did the dip manicure in like 10 minutes she BURNED ALL MY NAILS AND SHE CUT MY SKIN and on my pinky she burnt it so bad I think it's getting infected

I was so hopeful that I found a good nail salon in my town but was sadly disappointed. I arrived on time for my appt (9 AM on a Friday), and the door was locked. I called the salon phone number, and a young man answered - a young man who was my manicurist. He had run late and had been dropped off, probably by a parent. He looked to be 16 years old!! He cut my finger when he did my cuticles which bled and throbbed for a few days. He was only going to do one coat of polish too - I asked for a second coat. When I went to pay the price online, he said that the price was old and gave me the real price. Like Maggie G said, the prices on their website were very inexpensive....and INACCURATE. Their site says $26 for a gel manicure, and he charged me $35 and said he could not change the online prices. Are you kidding me, N Taylor Nails and Spa???

I really wanted to like this place. The reviews were great and the prices on their website were very inexpensive....and inaccurate. Their site says $25 for a French gel manicure, I got a regular get manicure and it was $30. The whole appointment was less than 30 minutes. I felt extremely rushed the whole time. The technician got polish all over my finger and kept asking okay? Each time she tried to remove a little, as if I should be happy she even attempted and it would be fine to walk out with. Then she used the file to scrape it off which hurt. I'm still picking off pieces of polish from my finger. She didn't apply a clear top coat and when I questioned it another woman at the front desk argued back and said yes she did do the clear top coat, she's been doing nails for 16 years. Even though that woman had *just* walked in the door and glanced at my fingers. I got 2 coats of pale pink polish and nothing else. She squirted my nails with water and oil and told me to wash my hands, saying I was all set. I also didn't get *any* kind of hand massage which is one of my favorite parts of a manicure. You REALLY get what you pay for here...and it's not much. Will not be returning and will go to a higher end nail salon that cares about their work and their customers satisfaction.

I had an appointment and waiting for 30 minutes before someone saw me. I was so close to just leaving before receiving any services. I felt like the whole pedicure and manicure was rushed. The pedicure was simply okay. The manicure was pretty bad, no cuticle care at all which was annoying because that's a big part of the reason I get manicures. It was like she just slapped on some nail polish and sent me on my way. I've been to a lot of nail salons and I unfortunately would not recommend this one.
