This is a top-notch salon and Tonia is by far, one of THE BEST STYLIST in LV! She is professional, efficient, knowledgeable about current hair trends and products and treats her clients so friendly & warm. She cuts my sons hair and NO ONE has been able to please him but HER!!
She is THE OG in the Hair BIZ. "If You know, then you know"... just ask anyone and they will tell you! But, the proof is in her consistent work and dedication to her craft for the MANY MANY years she has been perfecting it. Her space is adorable, too;

I have been going to Moxie for almost 2 years now and have been extremely happy. I was super surprised to see some low ratings on here (I do question whether they are all truly clients...) as I have only received top notch service.

My hair was in bad shape when I first met Tonia and she has it in great shape now. I have had both Tonia and Isamar provide my services and am very happy with the work that both have done.

Aside from their professional services, the vibe in the studio is always upbeat and friendly and the music makes for a perfect visit each time.

I had Isamar reach out to me through social media after hearing that my usual barber had cancelled my appointment. I decided to go ahead and give her a shot, so I booked an appointment. I described how I normally get my hair cut, which is a low skin fade comb over. She started putting some clips in my hair which I found a little odd, but figured I'd just trust the process. She began buzzing my hair with the clippers and stopped midway through and asked "Can I see some pictures of how you normally get your hair cut?" That seemed like a pretty glaring red flag because she'd already began cutting my hair. At various points it was very apparent that my hair was uneven. The left side was way too short and the right was too long. She kept trying to fade my hair with scissors instead of clippers and there was no gradual fade, just a harsh line. Even the way she held the clippers let me know that she wasn't confident in what she was doing. She had me look at my hair with a mirror and although it was clearly unacceptable I said "It's okay," because I knew I'd be having it fixed at another place rather than having her attempt to fix it herself and making it worse. She then asked what my barber normally does with my beard and I told her that my hair is faded into my beard. She stated that she didn't feel comfortable doing that, which is fine, but I would've rather had her tell me she was uncomfortable cutting my hair in general and turn me away instead of giving me the hair cut I received. I gave this experience 2 stars because she was nice and had good customer service, but the hair cut itself deserves a 1.

Cut was subpar.  Truly question that Tonia is a Vidal Sassoon trained pro.
The booking system was complicated resulting in receiving numerous duplicated emails and text messages.

A native New Yorker, but Vegas resident for 15 years, I would book cut and color 3 times a year at AKS on 5th Avenue when visiting family. After hearing about Tonia several times, I booked an appointment for a cut. Wowed, I returned for color. I've never looked back. She is by far, the most talented hair stylist in Las Vegas.
