Mona Coiffeur Hair Salon in Metairie, LA

After a long haircut break, I looked like I mess. I was starting back to work and arrived at my regular place and found they closed earlier with Covid hours. I called several places and found Mona Coiffeur could fit me in last minute. On arriving, it took a few minutes, but they stayed open later to accommodate me.

I gave the stylist freedom to do what she liked and WOW, did I receive an amazing haircut, which is three different styles in one based on how I prepare it for the day. I have received several compliments on this haircut at my work. I am writing this review about two weeks later and my hair has been easy to care for and kept its shape nicely.  Other reviewers are right in the attention to detail they provide.

On checking out, I discovered I had the owner, Mona and greatly thanked her for fitting me in.

I've been going to Mona's for years now, and I am never disappointed.  Best color, best cuts, friendly service.  I'm always happy when I leave this salon.  I will never go anywhere else again!

Got my eyelashes done by Dolly who was courteous, informative and professional. Always get greeted with a smile at Mona's and they really try to accommodate their customers.  The store is clean and convenient, right in the heart of Metairie. Mona, the owner, will personally make sure you had a great experience at her salon, give them a try, you won't be sorry you did!!!

Honestly the best haircut I ever received was roughly 8 years ago and it was from Mona. Her attention to detail is unparalleled by any other Hairdresser I've been to.

She even took the time to teach me how to style my hair. I still get compliments every time she does my hair. 8 freaking years later.

And not only is she a great hairdresser, she's a great person with a strong morale barometer. She treats everyone with respect and has an incredible work ethic that you can't help but to respect.

She also does my eyebrows and they're always super clean and she doesn't give you the feminine arch like a lot of others do.

8 years and I can count how many bad haircuts Mona has given me. None.

I'm very happy with my hair results by Mona! She carefully listened to my needs and wants during the consultation and took me step by step throughout the entire process. I really appreciated how informative she was and kept the conversation going so I wasn't feeling bored during the hair coloring process. She's extremely talented at what she does! The products she used smelled divine and were very gentle on my hair. Definitely recommend, especially to those who are scared to dye their hair!
