MOLINA'S NAILS in West Bloomfield Township, MI

I liked my toes but the service itself was just ok. No time to soak in the foot spa, no sea salt in the water, no sugar scrub, no foot massage. Pretty basic pedicure. The salon looked a bit old. The massage chair didn't function well enough to truly be called a massage chair. On the other hand, everyone was very friendly and polite. The price was average for a pedicure, $35.

I am a teenager and today I went here for a dip mani. It was my first time and I was a little nervous from some of the reviews. Sam did my nails, and I have to say, I'm obsessed with my nails. I got a whitish-blue color on some of my nails and white french tip on the others. The only problem I had was that there wasn't a huge color selection, including they don't have a baby/light blue, the color on the design I had planned to get (I changed my idea). These are 100% some of the best french tips i've ever gotten! They are so precise and perfect! Some of my nails were short, which I thought would be a problem, but he made sure it wasn't! Sam made sure I was happy with every move he made on my nails which I greatly appreciated! I would definitely recommend this place!

Got French tips but there was no base coat so you could see my real nail through the acrylic and they were really ugly. I made an appointment with them and they took me almost 30 minutes later because another customer wanted more detail to their nails. He complained and then ended up adding whatever she wanted. The tech repeatedly left the table to clean, answer phones, check on other customers etc. I never had a nail appointment take this long.

I usually don't leave reviews but this experience left me in pain and also bleeding. I went in on my way home from work (should have went to my normal nail guy but how hard is it to soak off acrylics and do a gel manicure)? It took and hour of painful, burning grinding with the nail drill (I said "ow it's super hot" and he said "oh sorry it's hot" like 3 times) and 30 mins if acetone for them to finally get my previous nails off. So much grinding and so much damage to my nails. A woman next to me kept making shocked faces and mouthed the words "never again" and walked out on her pedi. I was cringing the entire time because I thought he was going to drill all the way to my skin. The lady getting the pedi asked the woman to slow down because she was being careless and fast and all she said was "this is how I do it." That's when I knew I had to put my foot down and leave once my nails were back to a normal shape. I figured I needed the manicure after all of the abuse my nails had been through and the man cut me 3 times on my cuticles and kept putting this weird blue stuff on my bleeding nails to stop them from bleeding, that are now inflamed and sore and scabbed. I draw blood for a living and this was just insane. On top of that, he kept putting a used acetone cotton ball on my wound. OWA OWA. I have NEVER had such a terrible experience. I still paid and tipped $2 which I now regret. I am in so much pain. In addition, he didn't soak my hands for the mani and treated my cuticles like he was working with heavy machinery. I was cringing in pain the entire time. After 1.5 hours of nothing, I said I ran out of time and left. He didn't even have me wash my hands after grinding my nails for an hour before applying lotion and putting excruciating pain on pressure points on my hand, for a "massage" so he was rubbing nail debris into my skin for a couple minutes which felt like an exfoliating face scrub out of nail nastiness. Im so utterly disappointed. I had a pedi done here a few weeks ago and it was ok, but fast. Massage chairs are gross and broken and the staff seemed to not care at all about their clients. I know they lost two customers for life today and I'm just so upset about my painful nails. Go somewhere else and do yourself a favor.

Molinas Nails did a professional and beautiful job for pedicures and shellac manicure. The man , didn't get his name, who did my and my daughter's nails was super thorough and it just simply looks great. Thank you for a stellar mani and pedi!
