K90 Nails in West Bloomfield Township, MI

This salon is tired, noisy, not very clean and is not relaxing. More importantly, look very closely at your toenails when your nail polish is off. They will not tell you that you have a problem, you must do this for yourself!

I have been going to k 90 since it opened. I love the way Kevin does my nails and takes care of them so they remain healthy. I go to NiNi for pedicures. She is terrific. The place is clean and well kept. No one does my nails better then Kevin.

I have been going to this place on and off for a year. For the most part, I have had average to fairly good service. The place is always overcrowded as they will say 5-10 minutes, but you will likely be waiting over 30 minutes. Do not take your young children there. It's almost like they do not consider little ones (who are with their parents and getting a service) as worthy of human decency. They made my six year old daughter wait for 40 minutes and continually asked her to move from seat to seat (not next to me) for other adult customers who walked in after us-until I finally put my foot down and said this is not okay. Also, daughter wanted a rainbow of colors-each nail painted a different color-on her nails and the owner (I believe, Annie) arbitrarily announced only 3 colors. It was honestly awful customer service. In any event, I figured that they must really be hurting for money and customers and I tipped them beyond and beyond anything that they deserved. We will never be back again.

I came in asking for a shellac manicure and a polish change on my toes. The woman who started doing my nails was clearly in a rush and barely paying attention. She didn't wipe down the counter or put a fresh towel over it for me. She put the clear gel coat on a minute after I was in the chair. I was confused by it and asked what she was doing. She said a polish change. By that point, the gel was already dry and I didn't want to have to sit there any longer to wait for it to be removed just to get the service I initially asked for (shellac manicure). She didn't cut down one nail or cuticle. She strictly just painted my nails and called it a day. While my hands were under the light drying, she was on her phone texting. Once the light shut off, she had her phone faced up and was looking at her notifications while doing my nails. The lack of care / effort was shown especially because she didn't try to compensate for the first mistake she made. I've had a normal polish change before. They do not do as much work as a manicure, but they still trim / cut ur nails down to try and make them look a LITTLE more presentable. After that, I got a polish change on my toes. She painted them and walked away without telling me how much my total was or even saying goodbye and thanking me for coming in. She also didn't even mention how long I should sit there for to wait for them to dry. I finally got up and stood at the front desk and had to wait to pay since she was no where to be found.

Great service and work for 5 years.Good heavens, big girls speak up when they want more massage time, or special needs. Say something, or don't complain afterwards!
