Best hair place ever!! She's very fast and cuts exactly how you want it!! They're really nice too!! Definitely recommend!!

The owner used to cut my hair when I was little! Heck, I remember her re piercing my ears when I was 4. She does the ultimate best with eyebrows. I live 10 hrs away and I only choose her to touch my eyebrows. Currently in town now, and I'm sad that she no longer opens on Sundays!!

I have a confession- nothing spicy, or life changing, but it is rather IMPORTANT to me. Just a little over 4 weeks ago, I got the worst cut of my life, NOT from Modern Hair, but another establishment that shall remain anonymous. Now before you think me cheap, it was not a "quick hit and cut" it was a rather established location. I'd previously been there and was well pleased. My regular stylist had to remove me from her books for blatant cancellation violations, look, I work hard, sometimes long and I'm a mom first, my boys take up a lot of time. I cancelled 3 times over the course of 4 months-- but that is neither here nor there-- I'm here to talk about the wonderfulness that is ModernHair.
I'm no stranger to Janet, the owner/operator. My aunts go to her on a routine basis for hair trims and eyebrow arching. I'm familiar with her work, so I felt comfortable making an appointment. I called Tuesday and requested an appointment today and she fit me right in.
Her shop was clean and simple. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but I felt extremely comfortable. Janet is a pure professional. She cleaned her tools, dried them, and commenced to tell where were the last stylist had me messed up. She let me see, via front and back mirror where the left turn was taken on my last cut. I needed to have 1.5 inches removed to get my cut back in balance and  even it all out. I wasn't upset, I had already looked in my mirror at home for the last 4 weeks, let's be honest, I knew 4 weeks ago.
Janet was professional in her tone(very heavy accent- but she was succinct in her explanation of what needed to be done). She let me know as she was trimming what she was doing and what she thought the affects would be. She informed me  my hair was healthy and an 8 week trim schedule moving forward would suffice. I'm pleased with today's results.
