Do not get your hair cut by Elaina. I went in asking for a straight across blunt cut to remove the damage I had. I even started out by saying that most places I go to don't know how to cut curly hair which is why I came to the college as these girls are supposed to be being taught the correct way. She wet the back of my hair, not the front. She didn't cut all the damage off, and barely cut the front of my hair. She then told me I have to be checked out by an instructor. She goes to get the instructor and then sits down in the chair next to me for at least 20 minutes which is more time than she spent actually cutting my hair. Instructor comes over and tells her to fix it. She tries again to fix it. Goes to get instructor again, comes back to sit down and wait. Instructor finally fixes the cut. At this point I've been there for an hour, 40 minutes of which spent waiting for instructor with hairdresser sitting in the chair next to me on her phone. I just want to leave. I ask instructor if it's healthy because at this point all I care about is losing my dead ends because I'll do the evening out myself. She then cuts some more and swears up and down it's healthy. Don't get your hair cut by Elaina.
Apparently beauty school students are immune to covid. Every single person here had their nose out or weren't even wearing masks at all. If you come here you're basically paying money to get covid, this place is horrendous, also didn't see a teacher anywhere. 0 star review straight garbage
