Charisma Salon & Spa in St Cloud, MN

I highly recommend Loft Salon & Spa. I've been getting my hair cut there for about 5 years now. I used to get my hair cut at some of the big chains and there is no comparison. The hair cut at Loft Salon is so much better, but in addition the atmosphere, cleanliness and overall experience is night and day better than other places I've tried in the past. Another bonus is they offer you a beer or wine during your session. Great hair cut, friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere!

I had Kelli cut my hair, and it was one of the worst haircuts I've ever seen. I told her I couldn't go out looking like that, but she said she had another appointment, and I would have to reschedule for another day if I wanted her to try and fix it. I was leaving town, so I tried to hide my hair under a bandanna, and I went to my old stylist when in Iowa to try and fix it. Luckily, she altered her schedule to squeeze me in, once I sent her a picture of how bad Kelli's haircut was. She used me as a "learning moment" so she could teach all the other stylists how to fix a "mistake". I hate to leave such a bad review, but it really was that bad. Maybe she is used to cutting men's hair, but I can't recommend her for a women's haircut.

I tried this place out because I learned that they had a custom curly hair stylist, Tracy, and since I have curly hair it just made sense to try it. You guys! BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE! Tracy taught me everything there is to know about styling curly hair, provided education of why we do what we do to the hair, and styled it to really give me the volume and definition that I really wanted out of my curls. She is also such a fun person to be around and talk to. Tracy is a wealth of knowledge and talent and you would be making a mistake if you didn't try this place out. I will recommend this place to every curly haired girl I see. The Loft also has such a warm and modern atmosphere, making it a really relaxing place to be. If I could give this place more than just 5 stars, I would.

The Loft Salon and Spa is a great place. It seems to be a co-op of independent stylists. Andrea is who does my hair and I love that she understands fine, thin hair. She is able to cut it in a way that gives it some volume and not have to rely on a ton of product. I like that I can book appointments on line so at my convenience I can schedule a few and be set.

I love this place!!! Today was my first time in and I came in with a variation of pictures for the style of cut I wanted. Andrea helped me create an image and made it come to life. I was nervous for the outcome, but the service and cut exceeded my expectations :) This is a place I'll be recommending to friends and family for years to come!
