I wanted a gel manicure and for nails to be lightly filed and natural. She filed my long nails on one hand flat and square, down to the skin. When I noticed I panicked and begrudgingly asked her to just match the other hand and not do anything else. She proceeded to charge me for the service and gave an attitude when I didn't think I should pay for 5 min of a service I didn't receive. Salon owner who was present didn't care to see what happened.
Owner /receptionist nasty makes you feel unwelcome. I guess she doesn't realize Staten island has a million manicure places! Did anyone ever let her know the customer is what makes business. Someone should tell her to appreciate and respect the customers. Especially when her salon uses a credo razor and it's illegal in New York city!!! She is so nasty her Spanish non licensed pedicure workers complain about " the patron". Someone should let her know a little friendly niceness goes a long way!!!

Mint Nails ensures every customer leaves satisfied, never rushes you out the door, and never makes you wait longer than you were told. Appointments are always taken on time.
The only nail salon I'll go to on S.I. I love how my nails always turn out. They also have one of the largest color selections compared to other salons with latest new colors.
