Sorry for any inconvenience. As an employee from MG Hair salon. All stylist wear mask. We posted sign up in our front door for customers to have mask on, spacing for three chairs, book every clients every 30 minutes. However by law we can't enforce clients to wear mask. But we highly recommend for all clients to have their mask on for safety of others. Coralville have not mandate mask requirement. We will continue to make sure everything is sanitize for our clients safety. And hope this message ease your mind. Your business is very important to us here at MG Hair salon. I was nervous about getting my hair done since COVID so I called ahead and specifically asked them if everyone was required to wear a mask to be in the Salon. I was reassured that everyone always wore masks, hairdressers and clients. So when I arrived I was happy that all of the stations had been spaced apart with plenty of distance and they had free masks for clients. Good start! But after she started working on my hair I saw three different clients come in and get their hair cut with NO mask. I was very disappointed and will not go back until after the pandemic. It just isn't safe! :(

This place is now called MG Hair Salon and they're in the process of getting a new sign so it was a little hard to find but so worth it! I have had bad experiences with haircuts so I'm always super nervous when I need another one, but Anthia made me feel at ease! She knows how to cut Asian hair; I wish I'd found this place when I first moved to the area. Best deal I've found so far as well at $17 for both men and women. They accept credit/debit for $20 and up. It's best to make an appointment especially on weekends otherwise there'll likely be a wait. I'm definitely a loyal customer from now on!

Laį and Kathy do a great job for a very reasonable price. Always are able to get me scheduled in a reasonable amount of time. Used to go to a more expensive salon in the area till I got tired of having to schedule a haircut a month out and pay three times what I do here for the same quality of haircut. Awesome place!!!
