I tried the dreaded home cut since I rarely get my hair cut and after botching the job and cutting my finger I figured it was time for a professional. I was driving around hoping to find something, anything other than hair masters or Walmart. I drove by and saw that she accepted walk ins. So happy I did, after calling her from the parking lot she was able to get me in the chair and saved the day. So sweet and down to earth. I have gotten my hair cut at many places both high end and low and Mai knocked it outta the park! THANKS A MILLION MAI I'LL BE BACK!!

Beware guys!!! Probably one of the worst hair salons ever. Was trying to get some Asian hair stylist around. The owner was working on my hair color based on the color I showed her which was light/medium brown with a little burgundy color. It came out nothing like burgundy or light/medium brown but shinny gold yellow. Secondly, while doing the color she kept brushing my scalp to the point it's almost bleeding!!! Thirdly, I've never had anyone washing my hair in a way so rough and sloppy like her. A bunch of hair color cream was still sticking in the back of my head after wash. Then I asked her to please rub the color off my forehead and cheeks (which she put color on both of my cheeks somehow), she applied way too much of the solution and it dripped all the way down from my forehead and entered into my eyes, it's a mess!!Then, she started cutting my hair, to be honest, I've never seen anyone cutting hair this way. My hair passed my breast length. I asked her to have a little trim to make my hair thinner and cut 2 inches off of it. Instead of trimming it, she started cutting my hair to my chin level, and cut from the outside FLAT!!!! This is not "trim" man!!! I had to ask her to stop!!!!! To keep it short, it's a mess and I ended up getting a dark brown color from Safeway and redo the color the same day myself to make it medium brown. Well, at least it's cheap, she charged me $70 and I still paid $20 tips out of kindness. Because it's cheap I give her one star, otherwise i would not give any. But I would never go there again for sure!!!! This picture she said to me it is the same color!!! I requested the color on the left and showed her that picture, she made the color on the right hand side for me, and reconfirmed that is the color that I asked for. I was like, are you color blind???

I've gotten my hair cut twice here now, and I've been extremely happy with both times and had a ton of compliments on my haircut! I'm very picky and Mai nails it every time! Highly recommend this gem of a salon! Pricing is inexpensive- but the quality is top notch! I've been to high end salons all over Kirkland, Bellevue and DT Seattle so I know a good cut when I see one. Try it out!

Very nice lady and accommodating to my schedule. Reasonable price and I can bring my own organic color. She colored it and highlight my color. Hubby liked it..
