Luxury Nail & Tan Salon in North Augusta, SC

Walked in for eyebrow service and not one person acknowledged me. Exactly two minutes later, two "other" young ladies walked in and was asked how can we help you immediately. Still no acknowledgment, even though I was sitting directly in the front of place. I was basically invisible. I stopped coming here years ago bc the owner, Julie is unprofessional and lIke's she likes to charge you based on if she think you have money or not. She gossips about all of her customers as well. Today reminded me why I do not support this business!

LOVE LOVE LOVE getting my nails and eyebrows done by Julie!!! The only downside to going to luxury, is that it is a busy and well liked salon by most. I usually call far ahead to set up appointments with Julie and typical that is all good! I have never walked out with a set I did not love! One thing in particular I love about luxury is that if one person cannot do a certain design, they always ask other employees to get their opinions or skills to help out!

Went to this nail shop 2 months ago and had a great experience. The place was nice, relaxing and quiet.  Called on a Friday to make an appt with one person in particular and was given one for the following Wednesday.  Walked in on Wednesday, said who I was there to see and immediately heard the person who I thought I'd be getting service from say "someone else can do her!!" So, I waited 5 days for nothing.....to have someone else give me service!  She clearly did not value me as a customer.  The woman who did my manicure did ok, but waited until I was in the pedicure chair to paint them, which she rushed through,... and it shows!! Clearly the person that I was initially there to see wasn't too busy bc as I was getting my pedicure I could see and hear her loudly laughing and joking with the other nail techs about getting plastic surgery.  I got regualar polish on my nails, which was still wet when I left, bc no one bothered to tell me where to go to allow them to finish drying.  I wanted to make a follow up appt, but after being ignored for over 5 mins at the front desk, I left out of frustration. The environment was so very different from my first visit. It was loud, and not relaxing at all!!! One of the employees was making rude comments about everyone in the shop, to include some of the customers.
Not all was bad though.... The older woman who did my pedicure was a pleasure to talk to, and provided a very good pedicure experience for me. I had high hopes for this place and thought I'd finally found a good nail shop to go to in my new hometown,but clearly I was wrong.  I WILL NOT be returning to this shop again!!

My service dog and I walked in and asked how long the wait was for a pedicure. She told me 30-35 minutes to I stepped out with my service dog and called my friend to let her know. While I was making the phone call, the lady at the front desk told me my dog was not allowed. I said yes, she was because it's a service dog. She rudely replied saying it doesn't matter that she could not come in.

I went with my mom to get our nails done on a Sunday. It was very easy and they were nice. Recommend making an appointment instead of walking in, otherwise you might have to wait an hour or two. But overall very nice and genuine people with great service.
