Talent reigns at this salon, Kayla does meticulous color and cuts, always striving for a perfect result. I've been seeing Kayla for a few years (and you may have seen the review saying she didn't take new customers - that's because she was covering her suite mate's clients while she was on maternity leave), she works flexible hours which accommodate most schedules, and always has a positive approach to every aspect of my service. She has a sophisticated eye for color, her application is delicate and her cuts are precision! She's always greeted me on time, been very professional and she's ordered me special hair care products as needed. I live in San Francisco but work in Madison, and I'm so thankful I found her, she's changed the health of my hair for the better! She never rushes my service and I leave 100% happy!
When I called to make a first time appointment I was told by the owner that she is not accepting new customers. Don't waste your time calling.
I moved to Madison from Chicago last year and was nervous about starting over with a new stylist. Lucky for me, I found Kayla and Luxe Salon (after a couple of disappointing experiences at other local salons). Kayla is truly a gem - she is talented, listens to what you want, and delivers flawlessly. I always walk out feeling like a million bucks with my cut and highlights. I have naturally blonde hair and am starting to get some grays. The combination of highlights and darker blonde coverage she uses gives my hair beautiful dimension and makes it look so young & healthy. She is fun to talk to as well, which is a great bonus. Not sure why I have not reviewed this yet other than being selfish. The more great reviews it gets, the harder it will be to get in. The worst thing ever is having to find a new hair salon. I got tired of every person I saw moving up (translates to price increase) that I checked Yelp for someone new. I read these reviews and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. Kayla cuts my curly hair really well and I love the color she uses on me. She has suggestions when I ask for them and is so friendly and easy to talk to. Several times she has worked me in for an emergency, which is much appreciated. Nothing bad to say at all.
Kayla is amazing! She listens and also has great ideas and suggestions. I trust her to do whatever she thinks is best with my hair and I am extremely picky about who touches my hair. It is also easy to make appointments with her which is nice in this fast paced world. I'm never going to another stylist - I have recommended her to my whole family and they love her as well!
