Walked in and ask if they could do a pedicure, man sitting holding a baby in a New Orleans saints Jersey ask me what time is it? I replied 3:42 he said well we don't close until 7:00. I was like ok. He told me to take a seat at the pedicure station. I did. One lady was doing a pedicure and another lady had 2 fingernails. The pedicure lady stays the chair. The pedicure station had small black things floating in the water. The man is sitting there feeding a child and has a dog on a leash. He is barefooted with the bottom of his feet black. They had Asian kid music blasting. The entire set up was unsanitary and he didn't help with his sarcasm. I left out of fear of the unsanitary conditions and short staff. I understand a family business but a mail shop is not a daycare. And a mail shop should be clean.
The SNS service performed on 10/25/21 began to chip the next day. By the time I returned on Friday (4 days later), majority of my natural nails had either chipped or completely broke. I informed the nail tech of what occurred and she offered to do them over for $35. I declined and she charged $10 for removal. The price is no issue, it's just the principal of paying again for the same service that was done incorrectly. I had her remove the nails and cut them down due to how badly they had broken.
I don't believe she truly understood the issue because she stated see you next time as I was walking out, as if I'd return.
When you already not feeling well and you break a nail - it's before 3 o'clock - so you run to the nail shop only to wait 2 hours to be told you can't have the services you want...
Yes I only allow one nail tech to service me. Yes I've tried another tech there and was not happy. Yep I probably would've allowed someone else to do my pedicure had you offered an hour ago - no I'm not gonna wait 2 hours for you to be put off on someone else.
Oh well I did at least get my broken nail repaired. Will figure out the rest tomorrow.
i absolutely love this place. even if they are busy the do a wonderful job. they are very friendly and no doubt you will leave there very satisfied.!!!!
They were very friendly and I didn't have to wait very long, even though they were busy. My nails looked great, and they charge a reasonable amount. My daughter has been using them since she moved to Mobile and hers always look fantastic too.
