Fancy Nail in Mobile, AL

My daughter and I stopped there yesterday, the time was 5:45 pm, the door stated that they closed at 7. The gentleman asked what services we needed and I replied two eyebrow waxings, I wanted a deluxe pedicure and my daughter needed a full set of S&S. We were directed to have a sit and they would be with us. We waited over an hour for them to even begin my pedicure. It was the worst pedicure I have ever gotten and I get them a lot. She drew blood twice and only asked, "Are you okay?" The entire deluxe pedicure lasted less than 30 minutes and the bath bomb I asked for they were out of.
 
The shop was pretty busy so we expected to wait, but when it got to be after 8 pm and they had not started my daughter's nails or either of our eyebrows it was becoming a little ridiculous. When I asked if they were getting close, I was told to bring my daughter back tomorrow.

I had every intention of just leaving and not coming back, however, the owner asked me as I was paying for my service if everything was okay. I responded that no actually it wasn't, that we had been waiting over three hours and were leaving with only one of the services performed. At this time one of the ladies working became very loud and rude saying it was my fault that I didn't want to come back tomorrow.  She had spent all of her time with three other clients that she was laughing and cutting up with the entire time. Obviously, they were regulars and were clearly more important than my daughter or me. Two other clients came in while we were there and left also without being helped, after waiting over an hour. One poor young lady was very pregnant and she mentioned to me that all she wanted was her toes polished. She told me she had already been there an hour when we came in.

I had to wait for my toes to dry, so by the time we left it was almost 8:30, and after three hours we had ONE service performed. I was expecting an apology of some sort for our wait, instead, I was yelled at and embarrassed in front of an entire group of people. Clearly, we will NOT be back. Sharing with my high school students I teach as well.

I visited this nail shop for a pedicure on Saturday afternoon in Tillman's Corner.  The staff was polite and they did a great job with my pedicure!

I especially enjoyed that this salon takes AMEX as that's my favorite way to pay.

The pedicure was $25 before tip and I felt that was comparable to similar nail salons.

I will definitely be back again if I am in the area!

Was no happy with the finishing product. The woman cut my finger twice with the drill. I have a few crooked nails. And asked her to fix them and she didn't. And I didn't want them this short. I'm not planning on going back.
