LP Nails in Elizabethtown, PA

I wanted a manicure and pedicure. They said they would be able to do it so he started cleaning my cuticles and then had me start the pedicure. He then left for 30 minutes. When he came back, I told him I will no longer have time to do the manicure, only the pedicure. So he finished it and then told me it would be $70. I said $70 for the pedicure??? he said it was $50 for the pedicure and $20 for him to cut my cuticles. Which took him two minutes, not impressed at all will not go back. They were so rushed and had three people waiting. They're over booking and rushing and charging way too much!! Will not go back

My nails always look great when I leave here. I've brought my mother and mother in law here too. My nails always look natural and thin, never thick. Jess is knowledgeable on the health of your nails and gives the best pedicures. She also helped me pick a fun look for an event with nails that are ombré and glow in the dark! Really nice couple.

Ignore all negative reviews because I've lived in this area for 1+ years and was so hesitant to try this place just based on reviews! The husband and wife do an amazing job and always are very accommodating. I have been trying to find a place that I love in Lancaster County and have not been happy until I went here! Try them out because they do an amazing job!

I have a few thoughts. My nails themselves look phenomenal--likely the best they have ever looked. Jess really cares about the shape and educated me on what healthy nails and cuticles should look like when acrylics grow in. But. Many of my cuticles are now cut down to where they are sore. I had one hangnail when going in and now have them in essentially every finger because they used a drill on my bare skin. Jess was great but Davidd rushed so much, likely because they had more clients than they could handle. They glued down my skin once I started bleeding to "stop the bleeding". I came in asking for a fill and Jess told me that I was way overdue for a new set and then continued to berate my natural nails (not my fault, but my previous salon's, she said). She reassured me that she would get my nails back healthy again after a few visits, which I believed at first, only to have this happen to my nails. The atmosphere itself is questionable... very cluttery and unclean (the desks where you sit needed a good clean, I'm a bit worried), everyone working there walked around barefoot which I thought was a little weird. Their teenage kids are in and out cleaning up after them. Staff ate in the lobby. Conversation went well until they started making discriminatory comments towards POC and people who live in the city which was really uncomfortable. Overall won't be going back to LP or my previous salon and on the hunt for a clean, friendly, and professional place.

The first time I went for a full set of acrylics. The gut owner did them and he did a decent job but didn't take the time to shape them properly so they were a bit too wide for my fingers. I ended up going back for the fill because they were open on Sunday and take walk ins. Jessica did my fill and did an amazing job. My only problem was the price. I was charged only $5 less that a full set, $15 more than the listed price. I ended up going back for another fill. The guy did them this time and complained a lot about walk ins. I don't understand why they accept they if it's a problem but when he finished it was a few minutes after closing, he charged me a different price, $10 more than listed and rushed me out the door. My $70 fill wasn't completely dry so when I reached for my keys all my nails got ruined before I even left the parking lot. I called 10 minutes after I left and left a voice mail explaining what happened and asked to come the next day to have them fixed. I received no response. 3 strikes your out. 3 very expensive visits for mediocre service and they don't fix it when they make a mistake. Thanks but I'll take my business somewhere else.
