Lisa's Wax & Nails in Lancaster, PA

This lady was a complete nasty witch. She pushed my mom around in a hurry she wax her chin and did a half-ass job there was so many hairs under her chin yet and she was going to let her walk out looking like that. I told my mom to lay back down and made her redo it right. Then at the end she tried to charge me extra because I had to pay with a credit card I said no you're not going to charge me extra because you did not make that aware you don't have a sign on the door to give me that choice or up option. She tried to fight with me with everything. Then she swiped my card twice and didn't want to give me a receipt saying she has no receipts that I made her make a homemade receipt and she was trying to fight me the whole way through like what are you up to this is not right your unprofessional . I had to make her three times tell her to write the date and. Give her signature on a card so that would be like my receipt. Very nasty OLD WOMEN. I believe she's the Owner/ Boss. woman she lost my business my mother's and some friends.

Went in to Lisa's Nail Salon on Columbia Avenue in Lancaster PA on Saturday, November 23 to get a pedicure and manicure. I was charged $45 for the two. I also wanted my chin and upper lips waxed. Lisa said this would be $25 more. I had no issue with this amount of $70 total. However, when I sat to get the pedicure done, I knew I was dealing with a novice. This woman had zero idea what she was doing! She asked Lisa a question every other minute on how to proceed. Two minutes in, she sliced my right big toe with that sharp cuticle instrument. I bled like a pig. Then Lisa, the owner wanted to put glue on my cut! I told her "no" outright. I was still bleeding hours after I had left the nail salon. I am going to see a doctor tomorrow Monday November 25th to make sure my toe does not get infected. I am NEVER going to Lisa's Nails on Columbia Avenue in Lancaster PA ever again!!! Very unprofessional people.

I scheduled an appointment, showed up early to find out they never wrote my appointment down. I was supposed to get full leg, bikini, and underarm wax done but Lisa only did half a leg and missed a lot of hair, including a whole section of one leg. I told her about it and she refused to fix it saying she was done, she was too busy complaining about everyone else she told to come in at the same time. I was charged $50 and told cash only even though there are signs saying they accept cards. Overall very unprofessional and I will NEVER be back, if it was possible to leave no stars I would.

Ugly looking nails I've ever had. They're all different shapes and sizes and there's a mountain of polish! It has been 4 days and the gel polish is already peeled off (the parts that were actually fully painted) and the nails that aren't at the point at falling off are chipped. I was supposed to get my toes polished but after she left without finishing my nails and forgetting about my toes (after being reminded multiple times) I decided to not give them more money and left. As I was showing my boyfriend how awful they looked, I noticed that I had polish all over my finger and hands. Worst $30 I have ever spent! This place shouldn't even be open, it's so dirty!

I've been on the hunt for a new nail salon that isn't to expensive, but does really good work and I've found it. I got a regular full acrylic set for $25 and I would say it's the best I've had. The woman who did my nails was younger and did an amazing job. She was very attentive and gentle. She did a lot of prep for my cuticles which a lot of other nail salons I've been to doesn't do that. She tested out the polish color to make sure it was one that I loved. I will definitely be returning!
