My daughter went in there bc our usual place was closed. She had a great cut by Lisa. My daughter is so picky and loved it!
This is a lovely Wellesley salon. Very clean, friendly with nice service. My only quandary was with the person I saw whose name is Jane. I came in and she said "I wish they would have told me how much hair you have" as she had another appointment. I offered to leave if it was to much trouble. She said no, but I felt this to be un professional. So I stayed. When it was time to cut my hair she asked how much and I said 1 inch. She said that's all? I said yes, I asked her to clean up the layers and she did, but she cut more like 4-5 inches of my hair! I was shocked. So, I think this is a great salon but just be careful to make sure you tell them the length of your hair and be adamant about how much to cut.
I took a chance on this salon when I had a serious hair emergency and needed it fixed ASAP! I tried to touch up my dark roots myself and it was a total disaster. Brogan at Lisa James was an absolute god send and the sweetest person. She was able to take me the next day and work her magic. I was so relieved and I actually walked out of the salon with a beautiful platinum blonde that looked way better than what I had done at a previous salon. THANK YOU BROGAN!!! I moved to Chicago shortly after seeing her but still make appointments with her at Lisa James whenever I'm back home because I can't imagine anyone else touching my hair.
James was extremely friendly and recommended that Shannon cut my hair. I was blown away by my haircut and the dedication that James has towards his business. Safe to say that Lisa James is back to being my go-to place for a men's haircut.
James is incredibly talented for cut and color! His entire team is excellent. I get asked often where I get my hair done - YOU WILL TOO!
