Level Up Cuts Barber Salon in Bryan, TX

I wish I could give the stylist Amanda zero stars. I had an appointment for 12pm. It was explained to Amanda that I had curly fine hair that tangles. She washed my hair, put a conditioner in my hair and then proceeded to brush/comb my hair. She only did a small section of my hair then another client came in. She stopped working on my hair and proceeded to tell me she was done with my hair and did not finish detangling my hair. What kind of customer service is that? If she felt the amount of money I was paying was not enough she should have told me and I would have gladly paid more. I paid to uave my hair washed, conditioned, and detangled. Amanda did not communicate with me as a result I have to go home and finish the job. When making the appointment with Amanda I told her from the get go that my hair was long, fine, dry, and tangles easily. She said she could do my hair. She should have reassesed my hair after seeing it and working with it. Again I would have paid the amount she requested but instead she kicks me out if the chair, half did the job she was paid to do. I will never go to that salon again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE SERVICE THEY OFFER TO ANYONE...EVER. Especially to people with curly hair.

Both Bertha and Courtney did a great job. I often get haircuts that are uneven or too short. They listened to what I wanted and cut it that way. Other stylist don't listen and cut it how they want as they are chatting about anything and everything and not paying attention to cutting my hair.

Amanda Anderson is a fabulous hairstylist! I came in with my hair in pretty bad shape. At a previous salon, there was a miscommunication, and I ended up with a head full of dyed hair when I really just wanted highlights. Thankfully, Amanda was able to blend my natural color back in and fix up the line that had formed from grow-out. She did a fantastic job, and two weeks later my hair still looks great :) Brazos Cuts, in general, had very warm staff. Everyone was incredibly pleasant, and I never felt uncomfortable or pressured to buy anything that I did not want. I highly recommend this place!

I am only doing the review because they were so awesome. Amanda (was with flux salon) was great really helpful advice for what to do about my horribly damaged hair. She also helped while Courtney also very awesome actually cut my hair, did the split end treatment and added the Demi permanent color. It turned out great! It looks much healthier without looking too much shorter they were very nice and HONEST. I've had trouble when people sell me different treatments that don't work but they did not. I would like to go back ASAP for the Brazilian blowout to keep my hair on a healthy track! Courtney also did a great job in fixing my layers. It's not often I find a salon I really like but I'll definitely be going back to make an appointment with Courtney or Amanda!! Oh also I went in for an initial appointment just to see what would be best and was able to get everything I wanted done (minus the Brazilian because I wanted to wait). Again AWESOME!

She has moved to Brazos Cuts 6 weeks ago. A month ago I died my curly hair jet black. Very bad idea! After that I asked several hari stylist to fix it. First they put color removal on my hair but it went back to black in two days. Then I asked for highlights but they told me it's not possible. And then I found Amanda! She took time to sit and talk to me for a while about different options and finally we decided that she make lots of small dark brown highlights in my hair. In 1.5 hour my hair looked awesome. It has dimension and volume now and looks great. She was very friendly and an amazing hair colorist. She also helped me with some skin care issues that I asked about. Also everyone else at Brazos Cuts were nice and friendly. I loved it there!
