I have been going to Boardwalk Salon and Spa for three years now for both my color and waxing. I've lived in both Bryan and College Station, Texas during this time. During this time, my college aged daughter and I have received services from three different stylists and they were all fantastic. In particular, I have visited with Emily and Elma. Both gals are both knowledgeable and professional for a client of any age or hair color. They continue their education to provide me the best services possible. I always walk out of the salon feeling beautiful! Since the Covid Crisis, I returned to the salon twice and both times, and felt very safe. They are strictly following all safety and hygiene practices. As a 'girl' in my 50's , this means alot. During these three years, I got married and moved across town from Bryan, Texas to College Station, but I still return to Boardwalk! Go and give them a try; you won't regret it. One thing; bring cash or utilize Zelle for a tip.
I made an appointment on a whim to get a blo out for curly hair with Carolyn. It was AWESOME. Carolyn was amazing and my hair looked amazing afterwards. Just look at my before and after photos. She's very funny and told me fun facts about curly hair I didn't know. Also, her shampooing includes a scalp massage which almost put me to sleep.
Went in for balayage by Lauren and came out with green and silver hair. Very upsetting. Not able to fix hair because it's so damaged need to wait for hair to grow out.

Specifically, Michelle, the best massage therapist I've seen in the Brazos Valley (I've been to several places) is amazing! Her massages are attentive to details requested by her clients. She incorporates hot stones and uses quality all-natural products. Her technique is of highest quality and her customer service is equally exceptional! I recommend her to anyone looking for a high quality massage, thorough massage.
I had a massage for Mother's Day on Saturday... The worst massage. I've had many massages and like deep pressure but this was a whole new level. I asked for her to lighten up and she did, a little. I should have left the first of many times the thought entered my mind. My mom had a similar experience with different masseuse at the same time. We will not return and I do not recommend this establishment.. This is my first yelp or social media review ever; the experience was that horrendous I needed to post.
