STOP! STOP! Do not go to this salon. They have had a number of COVID-19 cases and the owner has not closed the shop for thorough cleaning and cleansing. My Mom noticed some of the stylist and some of the clients do not wear their mask. Don't go there.
This was my first time at Legacy Salons, and it was quite different than my usual experience with my previous stylist of the past 12 years or so. First, I got my hair washed and that was all I expected, but then the staff washed it again, and then the conditioner. It took a little bit longer, but I wasn't used to my previous stylist going the extra mile. Second, I gave my stylist Amanda free reign to do whatever. She suggested a slightly new look, and initially I wasn't sure, but I love it. Change is good, and the "reviews" from my friends have been positive. Finally, there was a good vibe about the place, nice decor, and nice to have fun conversation while getting my haircut, as opposed to the same 'ol, same 'ol.
I love this Salon. My stylist Jennifer Rodgers Murry is amazing. The shampoo station is amazing. I drive 45 minutes to go to this salon and I love it. It is a wonderful experience.
I purchased a Groupon from Legacy Salons. Candi was my stylist, very personable and informative, but when she got down to coloring my hair it was possibly the worst experience of my life. First of all I was there from 4:30 to 9:00 that night. I went in for blonde highlights and low lights.When she was done my entire head of hair was grey. I ask her to do something because this is not what I wanted. She put a gold toner on my hair so when I finally left I had orange hair with white roots. I was soooo traumatized!! I immediately texted the lady I used when I lived in Granbury, Nikki at Kolor Roxx, litteraly in tears to see if she could get me in the next morning (I was not going to work looking like that). She politely worked me in and worked her magic with my hair. It looked 100 % better when I left. Needless to say that Groupon ended up costing me a lot of money. I learned my lesson. One last note, I did receive a good haircut from Candi.
Doris did a great job on my hair. (Cut and color). She is very talented and a great conversation was included in the price. I was impressed with everyone I encountered (front desk, shampoo). I have found my new hairdresser and salon. So glad I went to Legacy.
