Lauthr Salon in Petaluma, CA

I love the owner Heidi!! I never let anyone touch my hair besides her. But unfortunately COVID caused the salon to close and I have no idea how to get a hold or Heidi. I'm desperate to find her because my hair is currently a mess without her. If anyone knows how to find her or can tell her that Sahar is dying to find her, I'd really appreciate it!! My incredibly generous sister-in-law got me the best wedding gift in the world: a trial and eventual hair styling by Heidi here at Lauthr. I'm not one to go to extravagant lengths to look glamorous but I'm so glad I didn't try to do my own hair for the most important day of my life. Heidi was so sweet and clearly listens to what her clients want. I showed Heidi what I was looking for and she not only made me feel like a goddess but improved on the stock photos I showed her of people with way thicker and glossier hair than myself. I cringe to think what dinky little bun I would have struggled to make presentable had I done my hair myself.

I cannot recommend Daragh Childs highly enough. She has been cutting my hair for the last ten years and I LOVE HER! Not only is she a brilliant hair stylist, but she is funny, kind and generous (she is always cutting hair for charity or for the homeless). She also mentored my daughter who is now a stylist at a top San Francisco salon. My daughter had her hair extremely badly damaged at beauty school and Daragh was the one to get her to carry on when she felt like quitting. I always love my haircut and she is also ace at coloring too. She is the BEST!

I have had my hair cut and colored by Valerie, and she is truly amazing!! As someone who is trimming, chopping and dying my hair for as long as I can remember, Valerie is as good as it gets. She's honest about what is possible and not possible on what color or style I want. I have gone to her with a general idea, let her work her magic, and it is always better than what I had envisioned. She has corrected a cut that I had that was growing out oddly (I had gotten it someplace else) and made me look amazing. She has never been pushy or unreasonable and I truly enjoy the time spent in her chair. She is energetic, hilarious, intelligent and compassionate. Girl knows her way around a color bowl and some shears. If you want something better than you could imagine, Valerie is your go to girl.

I had permanent makeup done by Valerie. She did my brows and eyeliner. The salon is really beautiful, clean, and organized and everyone I encountered was friendly. Valerie is professional, funny, and a joy to spend time with. My eyebrows and eyeliner came out gorgeous, I love them!
