B & C Nails in Pittsburgh, PA

I started coming here 6 months ago when I moved to the area because it was close by. The first few times it was ok and the quality was decent, my nails were growing and strong! Then I was switched to another nail tech who repeatedly filed my nails so thin that they were breaking and ripped constantly. I told her this was happening and asked if we could soak the polish instead of filing, she filed. Finally this last time I asked for a regular polish manicure because my nails could not take being filed again, they have visible lines all over them from the file going too deep, and she seemed offended. I was looking for some pampering still so I asked the difference in the deluxe manicure and the regular... she literally had no clue. Here we are 3 days after getting my nails done with a regular polish manicure and 50% has peeled off and one of my fingers is infected along my nail bed and oozing. Definitely will not be back. Service has gotten worse every time I go and my poor nails can't take it anymore.

Very Disappointed! I have gone to B & C Nails for years and have always overlooked many inconveniences because I wanted to remain loyal. So many times I've had to wait up to 30 minutes, even with an appointment! I'm always asking for different things because I work with the public and see a lot of fun new nails out there but when I try to get these looks or need help with matching colors, etc., I'm made to feel like a nuisance! And still expected to give a tip! Today was it for me!!! I got my nails done on Thursday and on Friday noticed a corner had broken off one of my nails. I stopped in this morning to ask for a quick fix, when no one was sitting in the waiting area or my nail tech's chair and was told, "I can't do it now I'm too busy I have customers coming!" I said can anyone fix it? And was told, "No, everyone is busy!" It would have taken 10 minutes to fix my problem! As a long time customer, I feel this was an easy fix that any other salon would have done with no questions asked! They will no longer have my business or any of my friends who ask for recommendations! They need to step up their game with updated colors and nail art, there are some really great nail salons around Plum!!

They did an amazing job on my nails and really took their time. They matched the image that I showed them for inspiration exactly!! I totally recommend!

I did not make an appointment and that was a HUGE mistake. I just wanted a polish change on my toes. A simple cut, file, and color. Some older gentleman did them and he never asked me how long I wanted my toe nails cut, so I had to tell him to cut them shorter. Then, I asked for color 682 a shimmery, hot pink color. He never once confirmed the color with me and my toes were being painted a dark, dark plum color. I was beyond annoyed with the whole experience. Normally, I would say something, but at this point I wanted out of that hot, dirty place. Also, the receptionist was beyond rude and completely unhelpful! Overall, horrible experience and I will never be back!

First off, they did not clean their foot scraping tool before using it on the bottom of my feet and did not clean it after me just stuck it right back in the bin. They don't let you tip in cash because they are cheap and don't want to pay taxes on the tips. They prefer you pay cash so they don't have to claim it. Every time I have showed up for an appointment, I at minimum have to wait 45 minutes to an hour and a half to be seen. Oh, and the icing on the top is every time my total is different. Spare yourself and go somewhere else that just isn't about money.
