Lakewood Nails in Lakewood, WA

I bled multiple times during the very painful pedicure. Took my daughter here for her first mani pedi and now she never wants to get another one. Very painful and now my feet and hands hurt very bad. They didn't paint our nails at all how we wanted it. We showed them pictures multiple times of what we wanted and the "finished results" were completely different colors (because they didn't have the powder for mine and they messed up and used the wrong powder for my daughter on her acrylics). I told her I didn't like it and she argued with me that she wasn't done yet and I should have said something sooner (as if it wasn't obvious that what she was doing and what I asked for were two totally different things) I wanted my hands and feet to match as cloudy skies with big thick white puffy clouds and stars and I got little sad looking whispy clouds and a lot of pain. And found out they've been overcharging me $80 for mani/pedi and charge some other people $75. They charged me $185 for mani/pedi for myself and my daughter even though the mistakes were endless. I paid, no tip, and left. As soon as we got home, we trimmed and repainted our nails. $200 down the drain. Considering that I would tip $20-$40 every time that I came here and have come here frequently, repeat customers do not matter at all to them. Also, I've noticed that it is very painful when my big toes' nails grow back after getting pedicures here, I think they trim too much from the sides of the nails and it causes ingrown nails. If you're not very careful in trimming and helping your toenails to grow back, it can probably become more serious. Hope this helps someone.

got the prettiest nails done! i always go to lakewood nails and not once have i been disappointed! i always get so many compliments on them.

We have been coming here for 7 years, and the owners are like family. If you don't like the way they did something they'll fix it. Ha is the only nail tech that will do my nails the way I like them without arguing.

Found my new nail salon! Very clean, lots of shellac options. You do have to wear masks upon entry and adhere to a temp check. Other than that I was very pleased with my shellac pedicure and will be returning.

I truthfully don't understand all of the negative reviews on here. If you look up the business on google, it has much more positive reviews. Every time I've come here I've had a great experience. The couple that owns the place are incredibly kind and hardworking and have always done a great job on my nails. My mother comes here more often than I do and it's her favorite nail salon. I think a lot of the negative reviews are due to misinterpretations/miscommunications, but if you actually talk to the owners you'll discover that they are actually VERY sweet people. I'd highly recommend anyone come here for their nails!
