LAFAYETTE NAILS in Lafayette, LA

I went in on May 1st...The TWO that worked on my nails never asked if I wanted them cut down (which of course I do. I've been coming here for months) By the time I said something the owner was soo annoyed he just went to cutting so the nails on one hand are STILL longer then the nails on the second hand. Noticeably. He never compared each nail to its counter part or anything...I am going to have to go spend the same money somewhere else to get these fixed next weekend. I get ONLY my tips done. Again. For months. The gel for each isn't even. Not even close. Again had he compared he would have noticed the difference in nail length and this wouldn't have happened.

I left because I was soo mad and didn't feel like having an incident. I go get lunch.. I go home. I am standing in the middle of my kitchen doing absolutely nothing but talking to someone and look down...The topcoat is peeling off. I've NEVER had that happen here before.  I like the ladies that work there, but I will not be back. Surely there is someone in Lafayette that can do my nails...just the tips.. the way I want them done.

A week later ans my real nail is coming through on the sides, in the middle of my tips. I have to wait until my next pay day to get them done. They lost a decent loyal paying customer with me

I usually don't EVER write reviews but my experience here was so terrible I had to share the wealth. I have gone to this nail shop a handful of times before and the work is ok. The women that work there are sweet and they do a great job at pedicures. HOWEVER, the OWNER of the shop has made inappropriate comments towards me every single time I went to the shop.. but this last time took the cake. He then proceeded to ask me how I was going to pay.. I said debit.. visa. And he said "pay half 20 and half of the other 20 on your card." I said .."no thanks I would rather pay it with my debit card.." he kept pushing saying "no pay 20 in cash and 20 on your card. Using the debit card machine charges us a percentage so it's better to do half cash half card." At this point I'm annoyed and I say "I don't have any cash on me." And then he goes "well for future reference bring half cash half card" .. excuse me?? First of all.. the method of payment signs are posted ALL over your walls and it clearly states Visa or MasterCard.. it says nothing about "half cash half card" so if I want to pay my bill with my card, I should be able to do that. He then runs my card and tells me to write the tip and sign the paper before he paints my nails. I said absolutely not I will wait until my nails dry and then I'll pay for it." He then says "no it's Better to pay first and if I mess up I can do it over again" *side note* .. usually I get dip so I don't have a drying time but this time I just got a polish so I'm aware that when I do polish they rather you pay first but bc he was being so pushy I purposely stood my ground. So back to the experience, I say "no I will wait until it dries and then I'll sign it." So he finally lets off and says "ok ok" .. yall.. the best part didn't even happen yet.. he then proceeds to ask what I'm doing after I my nails dry.. I said "I have a wedding to go to with my boyfriends." He then goes.. "OH because I was going to ask you to go get me some coffee. But nvm since you're going to a wedding i guess you can't." YALL! MY MOUTH DROPPED. I was literally speechless. I'm sharing my experience with y'all just so if you've gone through this type of experience with the owner, you are not alone!

I absolutely love this salon!
Everyone is very nice & they use protection all the time.
I miss them now with this virus!!! Sure hope they can open soon!
