LAE Beauty Bar in Gainesville, FL

Im very dissatisfied with my experience at LAE , I started going for eyelash extensions and honesty I liked the results but they would fall off faster than I could get home, and after 2 appointments with one lash tech and the eyelashes kept falling completely within 2 weeks she switched me to a different tech which made me feel like the tech was blaming me for the loss of lashes and when I tried the new lash tech today she repeatedly called me "twitchy" while my eyes fluttered after being laid down in the same spot for 3 hours and my eyes are being brushed and played with without a break or any consideration to my comfort. Mind you the lashes did not look like they were a 3 hour set they looked average so the time I spent there for the results I got didn't add up especially since they fell out the same day my boyfriend even noticed and said it was ridiculous how at dinner I blinked and they fell out but to top it all off I suffer from anxiety and sometimes I don't even want to leave my house or talk to people because it's so difficult for me and today after my experience it reminded me why I have that fear because i felt unwelcome, like I was to blame for bad glue and loss of lashes and uncomfortable. She called me twitchy asked if I drank coffee or took medication I 100% felt like the techs were blaming me for the lashes not lasting but the more I think about it the more upset I get because I'm taking very good care of them I'm showing up to my appointments no caffeine and no makeup fully prepared but they fall out easily without my real lash so they are loosely applied. Everytime I get a set here the lashes are only glued on the middle but they lift at the root and so if you brush them they get tugged and they are already halfway off. I got a full set today and I have lost over 50% of the lashes without any rough play, I simply washed my face and brushed them gently but they are all halfway on loose at the root of my lash which actually is compromising my really lashes by tugging on them. I really enjoy spending money on eyelashes I tip 20% whenever I come ,I want to have lashes it's the one thing that I do every month that makes me feel good but LAE ruined my experience and made me feel as if I had no choice but to take my business elsewhere because I'm making my best efforts to have them and keep them but they will not stay on after I get them done here and they are making me feel as if I'm the blame and switching me around to different techs and the results are worse I'm just sad I feel like I've wasted my time, my money and I thought I had a good salon but boy have I been proved wrong. Don't trust them just go to a real salon for lashes.

I had an appointment with Glenda with "Creations By Glenda" for a blow out. She was absolutely amazing and she taught me so much about how to style my hair and what products to use while I am visiting Florida. I would recommend her to anyone visiting or who lives nearby. She is extremely knowledgeable friendly and kind. I felt very comfortable with her and know you will too!

Love this place! I have come here the last 4 1/2 years, multiple times, for different services. To be honest, they've always done a great job and I think their prices are EXTREMELY FAIR, especially for the great quality of work they do. You can never go wrong getting lashes or brows done at this beauty bar. -- Recently got my brows done with Sarah and not only was she super cool but she did an AMAZING job and really took her time to make sure they came out great!

firstly, let me just say if you are thinking about going anywhere else other than LAE to get your services done, DONTTTTTT DO IT!!! I just moved here and am looking for a long term lash tech, I made the mistake of trying out another business called legacy styles or whatever I don't even know and it doesnt even matter because they messed my lashes up so bad and I came here today and ooooooomggggggggggg Kelley SAVED MY LIFEEE she was able to remove the improperly placed lashes while still saving some she could work with and give me a fill so that I could have them done in time for my birthday. I literally will never go anywhere else for any services ever again I LOVE this place!!!! 10/10 recommend!!!!

I had an appt for a lash refill about a week ago and told the gal exactly what kind I get. I WAS 4 minutes late to my appt and called ahead to check with the gal to make sure that would be okay. The girl was super friendly and nice but did not give me the hybrid fill I had made the appt for and said if she had more time that she could fill more in. She was sweet, but there's no way she could've done what I was scheduled for with 4 more minutes. Unfortunately she must have double booked herself or was upset that I came 4 minutes late after she said it would be okay. I was also really disappointed in the way the lashes came out, even for the "natural" look.
