Hair Plus in Gainesville, FL

My family and I were passing through Gainesville on vacation and decided to have my son's hair cut. When you walk in, NO ONE greeted or acknowledged our presence and finally was told there was an hour and half wait. The general feel of the business was uninviting. The gentleman in the 1st chair (left) did not know how to use clippers properly. My son was left with very choppy and unblended fade. We had to have my son's hair fixed at another place in the mall. I stopped back by - announcing myself, otherwise I would be ignored - for a business card and to ask if they had a policy on a dissatisfied cut. The young lady in the 1st chair (right) gave me a card and wrote the manager's name down. She was not helpful in re: to helping a dissatisfied customer and was generally unpleasant. I simply had better expectations for a place that "appeared" professional... However, this place was highly unprofessional and depressing.

Morgan did my hair and was super patient with it. She got me back to my original color and it looks perfect. Deffff go see her! Adding before & after! :)

I've been here once to get my hair straightened for the first time (I've been natural around 3 years). I was very pleased with the result. It was easy to schedule an appointment and I was referred by a friend. However, last week I scheduled an appointment for today and when I showed up the stylist wasn't there. I caught an uber to get there so I wasted money. It would've been worth it IF I was leaving with a hairdo but that's not the case. I'm leaving town tomorrow and I have an important interview. So now I'm stuck to find someone else with short notice. I wish they would have at least called me to tell me the appt had been scheduled. Especially the stylist. Now I've spent $25 on a wasted trip. I was promised a discount for my next appointment...but I'm not sure that'll be used. I should've just opted for a free hair care product. So learn from me and call to verify that your stylist isn't sick or absent before going!

Nicole is awesome!!! She is very sweet and funny and she always does an amazing job!!! I would recommend her without hesitation... I won't let anyone else touch my hair!!!

I have been seeing Betty Jean for a little over a year now and I have never had a bad experience and I get my color, cut, and I do treatments with her she never disappoints. Betty is very knowledgeable and nice!
