Lady Jane's Haircuts for Men (W 12 Mile & Orchard Lake Rd) in Farmington Hills, MI

The worst haircut of my life! How do they stay in business? I called at 5:30pm today and was told I could have an appt at 6 or 6:15. I took the 6:15 and arrived on time. There was one girl there cutting someone's hair. At 6:35 a second girl, Carrie, showed up. She said there were "computer issues" which made no sense since I had just called in an hour earlier. She then just gave me the worst hair cut I have ever had and I'm 63 years old! My wife burst out laughing when she saw how uneven the sides and back of my hair are now. Not even close! Carrie was clearly on something and she should not be allowed to hold scissors.

Made an appointment here for a cut this week. I last went to this location in the fall last year and everyone was masked up back then. Today when I arrived, my stylist did not have a mask, nor did any of the other staff. As a 75 year old, I am very cautious. Even though I'm fully vaccinated, I wear my mask whenever I'm at indoor locations. As I sat down, I asked the stylist if they no longer wore masks? She responded that no, state guidelines did not require it, but that I could certainly wear my mask. I responded that I was not comfortable without her wearing a mask. She said that she could go out to her car and get a mask, and I agreed that would be good to do. When she returned, wearing her mask, she sternly chastised me for how I had demanded that she wear a mask! What a great customer service experience that was. I promptly stood up and departed as she continued to blast me for my attitude. What kind of personal care service business doesn't stand ready to meet customer needs and protect those they serve. This business is clueless. So long Lady Jane's. I'm booked for a caring salon tomorrow.

Called and asked if they do bald fades and was told on the phone they do and made me a appointment with a stylist named Amanda. Got there she starting cutting my hair and told me she couldn't do a bald fade because she didn't have the right clippers and on top of that she totally messed up my haircut. Probably one of the worst cuts I received ever. Do not recommend this location..go to different lady janes!!

Walked in at 1:00- no appointment- said they would cut me before a 2:00 pm. Perfect. I sat for 30 min and at 1:30 pm they told me the 2:00 just came in early and asked me to come back at 4:30 pm. I just walked out. Thanks for wasting 30 min of my time. On top of that- I'm now a 1:30 pm appointment , your 2:00 that is early should wait! He is early. Terrible customer service.

Love this Lady Janes location! Both my 7 year old son and I look for ward to having our hair cuts here every month!
