Let me start by saying I've been going to Pinky Nails since I was a teen. I recently took my daughter for her first mani & pedi experience. All went well until I tipped the women who did my mani & pedi. not only did she snatch my money she also made a comment about the tip I gave saying only this as a tip for mani & pedi. I just spent 85 here for my daughter and myself and gave her and the other women 5 each, totalling 95. I felt so embarrassed. I will definitely find a new place!

I've been going here for about 7 years. No matter where else I go, I return to Pinky's. The ladies always do a great job and if not satisfied , they all compromise. However, I'm always satisfied.

Zero star review: I always get my nails done at N&N Nail Salon. I am never disappointed with their customer service or the way my nails look. Unfortunately, it was closed on this particular day so I decided to walk to another nail salon --Pinky Nail & Hair Salon. I wish I would have just waited the following to go to N&N Nail Salon. The lady who did my nails not only did a horrible job and was upset with the tip I gave her. First, I was generous to tip her! Her service didn't deserve anything. NOT ONLY DID SHE DO A SLOPPY JOB BUT SHREDDED MY CUTICLES. Which by the way are painfully irritaded. My nails look awful! IT WAS A WASTE OF MONEY. I PAID FOR TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND F****D UP NAILS.

If you ever want to have a bad experience and HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE this is the place for you. First of all they're unhygienic and have old paper towels that are turning brown underneath the tools they use. The women from this nail salon are absolutely disgusting inside and out. I walked in today at around 4:50pm to soak and remove some tips and then do a regular mani pedi. While doing the pedicure the lady scrubbed my feet for like 2 seconds and proceeded. I asked her if she can scrub again with the silver callus remover because my feet were still super hard and she did without mentioning it was an additional charge. Then while painting my nails she huffed and puffed and didn't even paint them right. I could see right through the polish. Someone else came over and continued to paint. While doing the manicure, which another lady did(not the Same one who did the pedicure) she rushed so much because she realized time was ticking and they had to close. She asked me to pay before painting them, $25 for mani pedi $8 for soaking $5 for using the silver callus remover. I asked her why is soaking so much and told her the lady didn't tell me that the silver callus remover was an extra five dollars. After I stated this all hell broke loose they all started yelling at me at the same time telling me that soaking is actually $10 but that they were charging me less and that it says it on the wall that using the silver callus remover is an extra five dollars. I felt so uncomfortable and felt ganged up on(I was the only customer left and there was five workers in the store) I looked around and told them where is the sign because I don't see it. She pointed to a sign that said $7 with a picture of a bottle on it for a liquid callus remover which had nothing to do with anything I used. I was so annoyed at the fact that they were being so rude and nasty towards me. The lady ended up taking off the five dollars for using the callus remover and only charged me $33 for everything. I gave her $35 and she gave me two singles back and I put them in my purse. I'm not a shitty person and I was still going to tip her after I was done but when she saw that I put it back in my purse she stated "why no tip". I told her I wasn't comfortable and that I was not coming back to the store again and that tipping was optional. Whether or not I decided to do it I would do it at the end before I leave. After I said this all hell broke loose the owner of the salon started slamming things and started yelling in Chinese which I could not understand. The lady continued painting my nails while continuing to defend her workers. They sat me to dry and the owner handed the lady that painted my nails quick dry polish and said "here give her quick dry no charge". They all put on their coats and sat waiting for my nails to dry. This lady that didn't even do my nails kept coming back to check if they were dry because they were so desperate to leave. Honestly just don't go here... I only went here because my place is closed. If you want a good mani pedi go to hidden nails. It's right down the block and the people there are amazing! Ask for Kim(mani) and Ale(pedi). They're the bomb.com! You won't regret it !

At first it was wonderful because all the ladies greeted me with a welcoming smile and were truly humble. I requested to soak off my acrylic nails to then have a SNS manicure and regular pedicure. They instructed me to sit to begin my soaking with one employee . No problem. Once they set me up, I went for my pedicure with another employee. It definitely isn't what I'm used to because I'm used to someone really digging in and cleaning around my cuticles for a pedicure. They were super super gentle and calm. Therefore, I didn't say anything about what were my expectations. I then requested for my manicure and pedicure to match in color. I was told their SNS line doesn't match the regular polishes they have so they're going to try to match as best as they can with what they have. No biggie, as least they're trying! Then I was told to see yet another employee for my manicure. (Now I'm easily going to have to tip a total of $15 for 3 people). The lady beginning my manicure seemed to be very knowledgeable in terms of SNS. UNTIL I realized she kept dipping my nails into the powder to the point were they were extremely bulky and round. I didn't say anything because maybe she would fix it later. I also realized she was becoming overly frustrated but I had no clue why and it wasn't until she whispered "I don't like powder" I realized that she really didn't know what she was doing. Anyway, I was still quiet but it wasn't until she wanted to rush to get me out that I asked if she would mind shaping my nails back to square. She looked at me and rolled her eyes and began shaping. I didn't mean to say anything but if I'm paying, I should have a say. Long story short the job isn't the best but their customer service or trying to be helpful is noted. I doubt I would be coming back because I'm very big on quality. PS: I doubt SNS is supposed to look this grainy at the end
