I got my haircut by a level 1 stylist bc I have straight asian hair so anyone (even a hair cuttery) can usually cut it ok. But the girl at La Tierra only cut straight across with scissors and it looks so blunt and weird, sometimes uneven, particularly with the layers she cut in my hair. I've been getting the same haircut for 20 years and this is the probably the worst ever- I've never had a hair stylist not texturize the ends when I asked for layers. I think she needs more training and I am bummed with my haircut. Going to try to go to sports clips or something to ask to get it fixed for cheap tomorrow. Don't go here.
When I called for the price of a spa pedicure I was told 65.00. Online it said 70.00. I was charged 75.00. This was all in the SAME day.
The pedicure was awful, no foot or leg massage at all as was stated in the spa pedicure description. A waste of time and money.
Lovely staff, product and management. Educated and dedicated stylists/estheticians work together to keep things running smoothly. Education is encouraged to keep everyone on trend with all the newest products and styles. Recommend for some one who wants to work there and for anyone looking for a good salon in the area!
Well... they certainly are no better than Floyds or Great Clips. Just more expensive and smug. I went there 8 times for a men's cut. The cost ranged from 30-45 plus tip, twice I was on the receiving end of a hack job and every time I waited between 5-20mins for my stylist. Once I waited so long that they had another stylist shampoo my hair, so the other lady could catch up. Today, I was running late and on the phone with my doc office, so I was not able to call ahead. I arrived 7 minutes late and they would not take me back. I drive 15 min each way, so it was a waste of 30 minutes and that was the first time I was ever late. Apparently they can be super late every time, but not the client. SOOOO tired of the Modern Day Customer Shit-Sandwich Service Levels... I and my girlfriend will no longer go to AVEDA. Spread the word, they are worth half of what they charge........
My wife came in and asked for a level 3 stylist and was told they were all booked. So they offered a level 2. My wife asked for blonde and and got a copper. Asked twice to thin her hair and still not thinned out. Asked for a framed texture and shape and got a blunt haircut instead. Should have read the reviews before the appointment was booked.
