While visiting my daughter I treated us to a pedi. Upon arriving they were not busy at all but yet we were not greeted. About a minute or 2 later we are greeted and introduced to the nail polish choices. While I was going through 2 baskets of gel choices a man came up and hurriedly directed me to my chair and then placed the baskets next to me. I picked my service and my color. Over all the experience was good. My daughter had a great pedi. However, I did not get a pedi-I got a cut down, filed and a good massage but that was it. No further attention was given to my toes. I tried to ask about my toes and he did not understand anything I said. While checking out I was not going to say anything but our obvious conversation about the lack of attention I received fell on deaf ears, so when the entitled owner (parks at the front door blocking traffic) asked how my pedi was I told her did not get a pedi, I for a cut down, file and massage. She then started talking to the man in their native language. She then asked me if I got the massage and the hot towels and I told her that, that is not what a pedi is but a pedi is actually addressing the toe nails. So she deducted $5 from my service. I was with my daughter and it was our day so I did not say more but honestly if you go to this salon be very aware of the following:
* get prices up front. While getting out pedi we heard others asking about their service and pricing and I learned that they nickel and dime you to death. So beware
*make sure to NOT have the gentleman do your service
* be aware that the owner truly does not care if you are happy with your service or not
*they charge $15 for gel polish to any service you have. That is a stupid
Crazy price. I understand the up charge but I have never paid more than $10.
* watch what the owner charges you. She told me $98 but charged me $103.
The young lady who performed my daughters service was great and I think my daughter may return for her.
Just be very aware of this salon and the owner.
Now for me to get a true and real pedi when I get back home.
