L A Perfection Nails in Spotswood, NJ

New owners took over this past year - Cindy and Tony. I love them. They are professional, friendly, and accommodating! I am never rushed and always leave feeling great about my mani/pedi service!

I went there today to get my nails done and the customer service was absolutely terrible. A short lady with pink hair gave me an attitude the whole time I was there and was blatantly rude. Charging my card before I got my nails done should have been my sign to walk out. Terrible service. If I could give zero stars... I would.

I would give them zero stars if I could. I really wanted to like this place because they never have a wait and are closeby. I tried them three times, out of desperation, and finally done trying them out. The first time was ok - I got a gel mani and pedi. The woman barely acknowledged me but I'm ok with that. I'm not there to chat and prefer not to anyway. She butchered my cuticles a bit, but that happens sometimes so I gave them a second chance months later. The second time I went, the women on there were borderline rude with how they were telling me where to sit, asking me about my polish, just abrupt and the mani itself was subpar- sloppy, bumpy and nails uneven. The last time I went, I had a trip planned and waited to the last minute. This one took the cake and I won't be returning. They were heavily pushing a gel polish, which I didn't want. I heard "no gel?!?!" With an odd look no less than ten times. Not even kidding. I finally said to her "I do not want gel, please don't ask me again" Bc I was feeling so pressured. They have very few non gel colors and the ones they have are dried up and crusty. I brought in my own color. I could tell they were actively talking about me because they were so annoyed I didn't want gel. Locals know this place stinks and I should have listened. I also don't believe their "new mgmt" sign outside. Seems they know it too. Their manager is just as bad as the other old woman in there. Save yourself the trouble and go where your business is appreciated and you won't feel pressured to spend more on something you don't want.

$18 for a subpar manicure was definitely a waste of money! I had to ask to have my cuticles done.

Reply to owner*** I absolutely DID NOT leave satisfied and I voiced my concerns and dissatisfaction to the woman that sits upfront and she didn't care, brushed it off. If you zoom in on my pictures you will see my broken nails.. again after only 1 week!!!! You so t even fill the whole nail, you fill the top half and expect it to last and not break??? What a joke!! Original review*** I came to this place on accident, instead of the LA Perfection Nails in East Brunswick (big mistake) the guy did my nails and took his time (2 hours). Showed a design to copy and what he did is nothing like the picture. The fill looks like my nails are grown out already, it's been 1 week. My nails are breaking half way down the middle and the worst part??! They charged $50 for this awful job!
