They take walk-ins, but I usually call ahead. They can almost always get me in that day. The place is owned by a husband/wife couple. Tom usually cuts my hair but sometimes his wife Holly. Whoever does it, I've never been disappointed. The second time I went back, they both greeted by name! They are both amazing people.

The men's short cut that I get includes a wash before and styling afterwards.

A few years ago they remodeled their shop themselves. It's beautiful. The barbers chairs each face a big mirror with large exterior windows on both sides. You get to watch cars go by on NE Broadway (right by the 28th Ave entrance to Fred Meyers), but miraculously you can't hear the traffic. It's so peaceful.

LA Hairdressers is a solid 5 stars for me.

I have to tell you.  Tom and Holly have a first class salon on NE 28th and Broadway.  Tom cuts and styles my hair so well that I travel across town to get my hair cut.  He is just so talented and meticulous in giving you the look you want, that you wonder why more salons aren't able to do the same thing.  I first started going there in 1993 and stayed there for many years.  I then moved across town and tried many other places for awhile, but now, several years later I have to drive my gas-guzzling V-8 across town-and I mean way out of the way to have the privilege of getting a great, consistent, and desired cut.  Just great!  I highly recommend these two.  And Tom can give you a history lesson if you want while you are receiving a trim/style.  In addition, they have a large parking on-site in an otherwise very busy and bustling area and it just work so well.  You can get a cut/style and pick up your groceries at the big FM right next door.  If you want a good style and a good cut (can't comment on pedicures and such because I am a man) go to LA Hairdresser's Plus.  You will be very happy you did.

Tom has been cutting my hair since 1998.  He is the best barber I have ever had.  He is very articulate in his profession and him and his wife Holly are very friendly and accommodating when it comes to scheduling appointments.

I asked a friend who cut her hair so beautifully and she told me about Tom and Holly.  Their neat-and-clean salon is lovely. Tom really is a genius with hair color.  He gets everything exactly right.  He is kind to hair and I think my color never, ever looked so good or so healthy. I wish I had discovered them years ago.

Check out this newly remodeled salon.  Tom has been cutting my hair for years.  There is complete Nail care and waxing by Holly.  Hair color great too. These people are pros and very reasonable prices.
