L.A. Nails in Boise, ID

The person doing nails here now has absolutely no idea what they are doing. Paid $50 for poorly shaped jails and were way too thick. It looks like someone that had never done nails before did them. The polish also looked absolutely terrible. There's no way she went to nail school.

I'll go if Amy is the technician. One day I called and made an appointment (girl barely spoke English). I double-confirmed with her "tomorrow at 4:00, right? ok?" Ok she says. Then when I got there - no appointment, then tries to act like it was my fault, showing me the schedule, then looking at the phone to show what calls had  come in....asking me, who did I talk to? I'm all, uhh, well, I'm pretty sure it was you (based on the fact she barely spoke English). That said, I did have to re-schedule for the next day... I saw Amy and she does a great job. The owner Tommy the owner is rude. If Amy isn't there, I won't bother.

They did a good job cleaning up my toes and feet for a pedicure but chopped off the entire nail as far down as it would go without asking how long I wanted them first. Their facilities also don't appear to be very modern or clean.

I get my nails done quite frequently and have gone to quite a few salons so I know when they've done a good job. This place is so unorganized and not sanitary. I have never had a problem with my nails lifting and I'll usually let them grow out at least 3 weeks. My nails started lifting after 2 days. I went back and explained to the dad that they had already started lifting, he doesn't apologize whatsoever and proceeds to get irritated at me and asks me very rudely if i use lotion on my hands?? I responded with yes but do not see how this question is relevant whatsoever seeing as I've always used lotion on my hands for as long as I can remember and I've never had a problem with my nails lifting because I use lotion?? He did not accept that the reason they were lifting was not because I use lotion but simply because he did a lousy job. Also all of the nail techs are super rude and have terrible customer service and get annoyed if you have any requests with designs or anything and act like you're asking for an arm and a leg. Prices are cheap but you're paying for what you're getting, cheap work.

Not impressed at all. There products are out dated so is the building as well as run down. I got a fill at this establishment and my nails are so bumpy with air bubbles. When I tried to clarify I wanted matte the nail tech(younger girl) stated trust him he knows what he's doing in a very passive aggressive manner. Needless to say the very next day my nails are already chipped so uneven and not even what I asked for. I do not recommend them it's a waste of your money.
