Kelz Beauty & Barbershop in Portland, OR

I went to Lili last Monday and she did a fantastic job with my hair. I'm transitioning to gray and already had an ombré thing going on so I wasn't sure what exactly I was asking for. Luckily she did. She also didn't push products on me but did educate me on products and likely saved me from ruining the toner. Another plus is how personable and friendly she is. I usually get bad anxiety with a new stylist but I was completely comfortable. I'll definitely keep seeing her. Thank you Lili!

I've been getting my hair done for almost 20 years now and this was the best experience I've ever had.
Kelli is humble and charismatic and an expert on hair. The salon is comfortable and super cute too.
I had hair that after going to another salon was shorter on one side and I had patches of brown spots from a dye job that was poorly done. Kelli was able to touch up my roots AND fix the spots AND help even out my length.
My hair feels so soft and I'm really happy with how it looks.
I'm so glad I found a spot I can come back to again and again from now on.

Don't go see Krysta. Booked an appointment for FULL HIGHLIGHT that I had for a few days. I was very excited. I haven't done my hair in 2 yrs. She texts me the morning of and says she'll be 20 mins late. Fine. She shows up telling me she basically came as a courtesy to me cause her car broke down and has no intention of doing my hair but we'll do a consultation and that's it. She claimed she can't work without her blow dryer? That was in her broke down car somewhere and I asked point blank why can't she borrow someone else's blow dryer and she didn't even have an answer. I tried to tell her I'm willing to wait for her to fix her car situation. She said she'll try to get to her car and let me know if she can make it back. She never texted me. I text her, and she said she was waiting for a tow and definitely can't fix my hair today and said we can reschedule. I left, and asked when we can reschedule. She didn't respond till the NEXT morning saying she is not comfortable doing my hair. I understand that it wasn't the easiest job to take virgin brown hair to a full highlighted blonde and I was very vocal with her about that. Just plain simple, the morning of the appointment she could have told me she was having car trouble and won't be able to do it and also was not comfortable doing my hair. Instead she was very unprofessional and wasted BOTH of our time. Got my hair done at Moda Studios by a nice girl named Suzie and she did exactly what I asked. Not saying the other hairstylist are bad bc I didn't meet them but don't go to Krysta.

Adrian did an amazing job! I didn't have the best experience with a previous salon and she worked magic and helped me regain my confidence. She's super upfront about costs, her plan and follows through on it all. I love my hair so much! :)

DO NOT GO TO ADRIAN!! DO NOT BUY THE GROUPON VOUCHER WITH HER!  Can't say enough how much I have buyer's remorse, and should have looked at her reviews before purchasing.  I'm in the process of getting a trade-in voucher with Groupon, but it has been a pain in the #ss.  I have texted and called Adrian numerous times over the last 8 days.  No response.  So the groupon thing just seems to be her little scam...to make more money for herself? WTF?!  If I were the owner of Kelz, I would fire Adrian.  She is a con artist and beyond unprofessional.  Downright rude.
