I've been in Austin for 3 years and love it here, but my hair has not transitioned well. I've gone to several stylists since being here and have had one bad cut after another.....until I met Denise!

My hair is fine, and I was explaining that stylists out here keep texturing my hair. She understood immediately why I've been challenged to get a good cut. During our consultation, it was immediately apparent to me that Denise just gets it.  Then she cut my hair.....BINGO! Precision cut! Finally!

The salon is intimate and it's relaxing. There's not 25 other stylists, conversations and blow dryers in the background. It's a quality experience, and I really enjoyed it.

Am I going back? Yes! Getting cut and color next time and looking forward to it instead of feeling nervous and uneasy that I'll be dissatisfied, again. We can all relate with  being stuck with a bad cut and looking in the mirror every day at it. I'm very impressed with Denise and you will be too.

So after going to a hairstylist for over 9 years and that hairstylist is no longer available  there is a sense of shock that one well, maybe just me goes through. Its not easy finding someone who who can trust, is honest and professional. I did my research and came across Denise. A bit nervous at first but she made me feel very welcome and at home in her saloon. I didn't have to go into great detail on what I was looking for. Just a couple quick points about what I don't want and then, well yes I have super thick hair so lets thin it out for sure. We were off! Good conversation and a great small, cozy atmosphere made me feel I was in good hands. The end result was amazing! I don't know too many guys out there who are to picky about their hair but I am. I know I can always get a quick cut from Birds if Im in a bind but for little bit more, and the thought of building a new relationship with the SAME person, I can sit in a friendly chair, share great conversation and get an excellent, wait, an amazing cut by Denise. I will definitely recommend my friends and most definitely be coming back. hmmm, now I wonder what I will do when my other hairstylist comes back from working on film.....wait, yea, go see Denise!
