My mother passed away unexpectedly, and the last place we had gone to in town she didn't care for so I wanted something new. KC nails was perfect! Walked right in! Kim the owner did a beautiful job on my nails! And I like that I'm supporting a local business woman (Kim) as she is aspires to achieve her goals! My mom isn't here for me to recommend this location but figured I could recommend it for other mom/daughters who like to get their nails done together.
I have been coming here since I moved to MN two years ago and I'm always really happy with the services provided. The staff are friendly, hard working, and they do a great job. Will keep coming back!
Not a fan. I used to come here about 10 years ago and thought I would try again. Nope, I remember why I stopped coming here. Every nail looked like this after 3 coats of top coat and she was just going to let me leave! I assume the owner came over and offered to redo them. Complete waste of my time.
I went to KC nails for the first time last Saturday to get my nails done for prom. When I first arrived the store was completely dead and nobody was there to greet me. I was helped very promptly afterwards though and got started right away. There was a wide selection of nail colors which was super nice. My nail technician was really smiley and friendly but the language barrier was a little hard. She definitely tried her best to make conversation though. It was my first time getting gel polish and I was pleasantly surprised. The price was not unreasonable and the manicure was very durable. It lasted a week with no chipping before I started to peel it off myself. There was some calming mood music in the background which was only Adele, so hopefully you like her music! If you're looking for somewhere to get a simple and inexpensive manicure I would recommend KC Nails.
I've been going to this salon for the past year, my service has typically been great but has progressively gotten worse the more I go. Today I went in for an appointment that was scheduled at 4:30 with kimmy, she greeted me and told me to pick a color (she was finishing up someone's nails). I then picked my color and sat down to wait, 30 minutes passed and I still hadn't heard a word from any employees. 5 o'clock comes and I see her finish the lady's nails and start doing another lady's manicure right in front of me. Seems pointless to have an appointment as I waited more than 45 minutes...very inconvenient. Once I started getting my manicure it went down hill from there. *she didn't clean my cuticles *she left nail polish all over my skin *she insisted on using the rotary file even when I asked her not too because it was painful *she answered FaceTime calls on speaker in the middle of my service and was texting Very disappointing to see the decline in service. I do not recommend this salon. Not professional.
