Kathy's Nails in Grand Junction, CO

The team at Kathy's Nails are amazing! We are in town on vacation and they were able to squeeze my daughter and I in for mani pedis during my sister in laws appointment. Not only did they do an amazing job, this was by far the friendliest nail salon I've been to! And omg the things Kathy can do I'm booking a full appointment time with her next time in town!

The Guy doing my daughter's nails did a very poor job, and my daughter is very upset. It's very poor quality, Not worth the money. And there were clumps of dried nail polish left on the top on the nails. He also made one of her fingers bleed. Would not recommend.

NOT THE OWNER/MAIN NAIL TECH KATHY COMPARING THIS PANDEMIC TO THE HOLOCAUST Yikes is about all I could say when I overheard the owner of Kathy's Nails discussing with another client in her chair about the pandemic. Both she and her client collectively agreed that the treatment of unvaccinated people was just like that of Jews during the Holocaust. To say I was disgusted with the words that were coming out of her mouth is an understatement. YOU'RE NOT OPPRESSED FOR CHOOSING TO REMAIN UNVACCINATED. I am a very firm believer in your body, your choice. So if you don't want to get vaccinated that's fine but when you're given the compromise to wear a mask and comply with regular COVID testing. WHY WOULD YOU STILL BE COMPLAINING ABOUT NOT BEING ABLE TO GO TO CONCERTS AND GOING TO GO VISIT FAMILY INTERNATIONALLY. It's safe to say that she's lost me and my grandmother as customers. My grandmother has been going to her for 15 years and this situation where Kathy has said something extremely out of pocket isn't something new. However, this was the straw that broke the camel's back because we're tired. Tired that she doesn't know how to separate what can be discussed within your business IN FRONT OF YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS and what can't.

I'm sorry about giving the salon a negative review but I want to let them know of my displeasure at my last appointment. I'm a regular customer, tip well and have always appreciated them fitting me in. However, on Sunday I went in for a mani/pedi. I'm not unhappy with the outcome of my service. My dissatisfaction is that the staff was speaking to each other in their language and they weren't trying to include me and the other customer who was there. It was very uncomfortable. I don't know about returning. Customer service, not just decent product, is important.
