My teenage kids hadn't been happy with the hip chain salons they'd been going to, as their appointments felt rushed and the cuts were "meh." They wanted a stylist who would actually listen to them, and give them the look they pinned/saved from social. So I booked appointments with my long-time stylist Marcy at Karna Salon.

First up was my son, who wanted a beachy surfer shag. He commented that Marcy took way more time studying his hair and cutting layers to get the cut just right, and he loved the final result. Next was my teenage daughter, and her request for "curtain bangs." I wasn't sure how close she'd get to her pinned inspiration, but I have NEVER seen my daughter smile the way she did when Marcy spun her around for "the big reveal." It was awesome.

Everything Marcy does she executes with care & precision, from the pre-wash consultation and water temp, to natural parts, the right product, and final styling. I highly recommend Marcy and Karna a Finish Salon, and now my hard-to-impress teenagers do too!

Whenever I needed a truly exceptional haircut, I turned to Marcy. Her precision and attention to detail consistently left me delighted with the results. A few years ago, my schedule allowed me to connect with her on highlights, and since then, she has effortlessly transformed my hair with ombre, honey brown, and blonde shades. Her expertise in creating natural-looking, healthy hair is commendable, and she also excels in managing greys and grow-out. My husband is thrilled with her men's haircut. Marcy is not only a gifted hairdresser but also an incredible confidant and conversationalist. I always look forward to our visits. Karna Salon's location is convenient with easy parking, and the salon itself is spotless and welcoming. I cannot recommend Marcy and Karna Salon enough!

I would love to give a better review, but she refused to cut my 14 year old daughter's hair... because she doesn't "do children".

Starr has been at this salon for a good while--I followed her from another salon. She is amazing with my curly hair and her color skills are wonderful.  Karna has a cozy atmosphere--just three chairs as well as other salon services. Give Starr a try--you will be happy!

I've been going to Kara for a couple years, and can honestly say I've never had a better experience at a salon. She is so sweet, and always does a fantastic job cutting and styling my fine curly hair. She is thorough, personable, and takes great care of her clients.
