Nail tech, Evy is extremely rude, speaking Spanish about me and my daughter infront of us assuming I didn't understand her language. First she was bitching about the price the owner quoted me to gel paint my daughter's nails wasn't high enough. Her polish came off within 1 hour of leaving on 2 fingers, we came back in to fix.. and she started yelling and complaining when we came back. Don't assume no one understands your language. Extremely rude and doesn't very ignorant

DO NOT GO HERE!! I went to get tips and dip powder. The tech argued with me for 15 minutes trying to convince me to get acrylics, which I didn't want because they're more damaging to my nails. She almost broke my thumb twisting it and didn't stop when I told her it hurt. When I paid, she watched me while I tipped (15%, which I think was generous given her rude behavior and rushing to get it done). Two days later, one of my nails broke. If I'm going to pay $70 for a set, they'd better last me more than two days. I came back to get my nail fixed and she laughed at me when I showed it to her. This is by far one of the WORST customer service experiences I've ever had. I work in customer service, so I understand that staff can get burned out, but this lady was just plain rude.
I have been coming to Kay Nails on 29N for years. The people are super efficient and always friendly. I am always able to get an appointment to fit my schedule with my favorite technician and enjoy having my mani/pedis done with my husband and family members. This is the best nail salon in town!! K-Nails is a GREAT place to get your nails done! I'm a regular customer and have been getting my nails and toes done at the Seminole Trail, Charlottesville location for several years. Tina does a fabulous job and, when or if, something needs to be corrected, she's always super willing to take care of immediately and ensure I'm happy. I always feel welcome at this salon. I totally recommend this business and I'll continue to keep coming back!
