The polish on my nails were not complete on the sides. The polish on toes was smeared. I arrived that 9:30 am, sat in my car until they opened, and when I walked in, I was the second person to sign in. I was the third person to be called. The person that checked me out had no clue how to check me out. I had a really bad experience I was will not be going back.
I got full set acrylic nails here twice and both times they did the wrong thing. The first time they switched the base color and design color, when I tried to correct them they ignored me. I just went on Thursday to get a simple one color set they grinded them down way to short and they were all uneven which I noticed as I was leaving. Then on Saturday I hit my pointer finger against a wall not even very hard but the acrylic snapped and broke off halfway down my actual finger nail and ripped some skin off. I have been attempting to call for a refund but they either don't answer or hang up.
I chose this place because it was close to my new house. I called for an appointment and they were not prepared for me to be there when I arrived. They left me sitting with my feet in cool water with no jets on for 20 minutes When the tech finally did arrive he scrubbed my feet incredibly hard with a sharp brush!! I have never had a pedicure that included that before. When I was ready to leave, the tech had moved on to the next customer and there was no one to take the paper from between my toes or help with my shoes so my polish wouldn't smudge.
In addition, the shop is FILTHY with light fixtures covered in dust and one even broken over the chair next to me. The floor looks as if it's never been cleaned. I will not go back.
I decided to go to this place because it close to home and my regular place is closed on Mondays. BAD BAD BAD IDEA!!!! The nail tech was Thanh. She was horrible. She cut skin, don't paint the entire nail, she messed up several times and didn't want to fix it. She over charged me, she didn't know how to work the credit card machine. This was my first and last time EVER EVER EVER going to this place. I'm so disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone well don't go to this nail tech. I'm pissed again just thinking about the experience.
I don't really get my nails done that often, but when I do it's at KL Nails (that sounds cheesy, but it's true). Over the years, I have never had a bad experience here and am always happy with my nails - no matter who does them. The nail techs I interacted with tonight were all cool and funny, which just made the experience even better.
