K & K Nails in Ponca City, OK

Awful!  My nails are all kinds of different lengths and crooked.  I got a full acrylic set and none of my nails are the same length.  I asked her to make them short and she clipped them still pretty long, so I asked her to please make them shorter, she barely took anything off.  Then she got up and did a pedicure on a guy, then came back to me.  While doing the pedicure on the man she did not wear gloves or wash her hands after coming back to me and was mad that I asked her to.  Then she proceeded with my nails and cut me with her drill.  She finished by putting my shellac on which she managed to not screw up.  She did not speak to me, was very cold and seemed somewhat bitter.  The price was outrageous as well.  Two days later the finger she cut with the drill swelled up and is now infected and oozing yellow puss.  I will be calling the State Board and reporting this, as well as the health department.

3 hours and $60 later, and I'm left with terrible nails. I came at 9am when the were "open" however it was not until 9:30 that they actually started on my pedicure and it was a decent pedicure. However, I was forced to wait to get a fill because they took people in between my appointment. I did not get out until after 12. I would look elsewhere when looking to get nails done. PRICY AND SLOW

I've had a hard time finding a place in ponca that really dedicates time to perfect their work, I feel as if nail salons try to rush and do a mediocre job just so they can get the next person in, i want the best for as much as I pay every two weeks... this place did great! They are different owners I believe. Didn't blame me for any mistakes they may have made. Didn't mind that I wanted multiple colors, weren't as social but that was just fine! I got acrylic and shallac. She made sure the shallac wasn't applied near my cuticles which I LOVED. The shaping was great and they were really gentle with the tools. They did a really great job! I was the only customer so I'm unsure how quality is in a busy day. I'm sure they would be just as great.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARS, I WOULD. I experienced the worst pedicure I've ever had at this nail place in late December 2014. As Vickie P. stated in her 4/19/14 experience, I too needed a lot of work done on my feet but it didn't happen. For $25 I got a quick soak, a quick scrub on the bottom of my feet and a very poorly done polish. My toenails were not trimmed, nor were my cuticles trimmed. The bottoms of my feet were still not clean when I left. I had originally asked for a pedicure and nail fill, but after experiencing the shoddy pedicure, I drove around the block and had my nails beautified at Natural Nails. I can't image K & K being in busy very long with the type of service they provide.

Worst pedicure I've ever had in my life!!! The lady didn't even push my cuticles back and they clearly needed it! And There is bubbles and light an dark spots all in my polish! They also were suppose to fill my solar nail and try said they don't so that when I know they do cause I used to go there all the time before I moved to okc. They basically took in so many people when it was time to do my nails there was no chair. These people are incompetent. They used to be good but not anymore. I wouldn't waste my money here. If I could give them zero stars I would. Oh and let me add that when I went to pay they tell me their credit card machine is down and since I don't bank here I had to spend $3 at an ATM to get money. I don't carry cash. Who does? Worthless place.
