Taja was such a joy to work with! This was my first time coming to K & Co and the process was very easy to book an appointment online. I showed Taja a couple of videos of what I wanted for a cut and a partial baylayage, and she did an AMAZING job! I would highly recommend Taja and K & Co Salon. Everything was seamless from booking to the end of the appointment!

I love K & Co Salon. Everyone is welcoming, I'm always greeted with a smile and offered a drink (coffee, tea, sparkling water). I can't recommend Chloe enough! She takes the time to listen, look at pictures and follows up with questions. My daughter and I always leave her salon feeling amazing!

Was looking for a new stylist and found this place, couldn't be more pleased! Brooke does a great job and knows what she's doing!!! And I get so many compliments on how she styles my hair after! So glad I found this place!

Two stars (because it's been awhile and I'm less angry now) for it being easy to find, with enough parking, and for the receptionist being friendly on the phone and in person. The salon is not super fancy or anything, but looked clean and tidy. I'm not naming the stylist in case she was having a bad day or something. I booked a haircut with this person despite her not being an "elite" stylist, because she got several compliments on yelp and I wasn't getting anything especially complicated. I thought that her not being "junior" would be plenty good enough - my mistake because apparently there's some title inflation going on here. I had somewhat high expectations because of the positive reviews. She was not warm or especially friendly right off the bat. I kind of felt like I wasn't her "type" of customer or something. I showed her several example pix of what I wanted. I have chopped off most of my hair and gone from very long to very short several times in my life, and have had excellent cuts, both long and short, from other stylists in the past, so I'm familiar with people who are truly skilled. In this case I was going from way overgrown long hair to tidier long hair similar to what I've gotten before; no color, no super precision needed, nothing crazy, but when I'm in "long mode", I like getting deep layers because my hair is on the thicker side and I need it for movement. She seemed very "meh" about what I wanted and asked me if I wanted her to wash my hair (because I had showered late and put my hair up wet). Um, yeah, yeah I do want the services I'm paying for, thanks, and she probably could have felt from my hair that I hadn't bothered to condition since I knew I had the appt that day. She cut my hair very generally, and then said she was going to blow it out in order to finish with a dry cut...ok great, usually that's when the fun happens and heaviness gets razored out. When she finished the dry cut, I legit didn't realize she was done because it all looked flat and not very layered, so I commented that I had hoped for more layers. She said something about not being able to do much more because of how short one section was, near my cheek (what? I said layers, not "cut it shorter"), before doing a minimal amount of additional cutting. When she asked me if that was ok, I just said yes because I could already tell it was poor quality, she was phoning it in, and I just wanted to leave. She didn't do any more styling, didn't apply any texturizer or other finishing products, didn't brush the hair off me, just...removed the drape. She didn't even give me the mirror so I could see the back. I paid close to 90 with tip (oh yeah, she charged me more than what the salon website said her rate is) for not *just* a blah cut with little movement. When I got home and flipped my hair upside down, I realized that my ends were uneven in the back (I have pix of how ragged it was - frickin embarrassing that I walked out of there like that, with a couple of small sections about an inch longer than the rest). Always fun to have to cut your own hair when you just paid someone else to do it! The salon does send automated follow-up texts asking for feedback, I did give it, and I did get a vmail from someone asking to discuss. I did not bother calling back given that the money's gone and I didn't want to go back for a do-over. I realize she's just one person, but she left a bad enough taste in my mouth that I'll never go back.
