Elle Marie Hair Studio - Woodinville in Woodinville, WA

I've been coming to Elle Marie for a quite awhile almost 8 years. I've switched stylists a few times but I've never been unhappy. When I got my hair dyed I loved it and my hair was still healthy. I continued going to the same stylist for both hair cut and due however back in October. I requested the same usual haircut I would ask for super long face framing layers and long layers in the back. So I could keep my hair back for work. However my hair was cut so short that I can't even put my front pieces behind my ear. I cried and cried about it but since I had been going to the stylist I didn't call or leave a review because I thought it would pass. But three months later my hair still hasn't recovered from the bad hair cut. All my pieces are choppy and different lengths, none of my hair blends together anymore. I thought I could ignore it but every time i look in the mirror I just hate it. I can't even feel pretty anymore and no hairstylists works with how choppy the hair cut was. After three years of coming to this location with the same stylist, I won't be returning. The pain and displeasure of how bad my hair cut was just left to big of a hole in my heart.

Great haircut. The place is nice and staff are friendly. My first time going to a new place in years and I plan to come back!

I was so scared to get my hair done again after a bad experience but i'm so glad I did! Jasmine absolutely transformed my hair from a darker brown red into a beautiful golden blonde. She was always checking up on me during the appointment and offering me water, tea, coffee, etc. I felt super comfortable and relaxed my whole appointment. I recommend her and this salon to anyone who's looking to get their hair done!

Hands down, Jaime is THE best! In just one session, Jamie was able to transform my dark-based hair to a warm chestnut brown with sun-kissed highlights. I've been seeing her for regular maintenance since. She's extremely professional, is clearly an expert in her craft, and always makes sure you feel comfortable at every step of the process. I always feel so happy and glamorous after each visit. I can't recommend her enough and am so happy to have found her!

DO NOT GO TO JASMINE OR THE SALON ALTOGETHER!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND HAIR. Absolute worst salon experience if my life. Once I walked in, I showed her my inspo pictures, and what my original color was. After telling her what I wanted, she told me that it "wouldn't look good". She starts to put bleach on my head when I wasn't aware. It wasn't until I asked her if it was bleach that I was told. No test strips were done either. She had let me process with the bleach on for well over an hour and a half (I have pictures with times to prove),after I had asked her to process it for less time and she said no. Then it started to burn, so when she came to check on me I had told her, and she proceeded to tell me we needed to wait longer. She went to rinse out my hair, then brush it. Chunks of my hair that was a mix of orange and yellow we're just coming out the brush. She tried to tell me it that was just normal fall out, but it was coming out as chunks and melting off. As she was slow drying it, hair was just falling into my lap. She went to put the toner in, and it was already burning my scalp because she had previously burn my head with the Bleach. I now currently have two sores that were burnt in my scalp. I was crying in the salon, and once I got home my hair just fell out. It was stringy and fried and just an absolute mess. I have lost about a quarter of my total hair, which is devastating. She also got bleach all over my clothes. My brand new shirt was completely ruined, splotched with bleach. And they would never pay me back for it. I called and they told me they don't do refunds which is a joke. It took about four phone calls for me to finally get a refund, and was never allowed to speak to a manager even, just the receptionist. $502 to completely ruin my hair and clothes. But even that won't cover the cost of my shirts as well as all of the products needed to try and repair what's left of my hair. Small claims is going to be my next step.
