JCPenney in Union Gap, WA

Lily was so sweet! Oh my goodness sweetest cashier I've ever met! Definitely will be returning due to the outstanding customer service!

Good not great selection of merchandise. Not a welcoming felling Big windows up front but frosted over. Could use a more customer friendly approach Frosted over just seems unapproachable.

I know that JcPenney used to have a large share of the market when they were downtown and one would expect them to do well in Union Gap. However, this is in an odd location and does not have very good customer service. Employees seemed to avoid eye contact. I was able to find an inexpensive flannel shirt on clearance to wear during my time in Yakima.

This is a new store that is near the mall, but actually only connected to the Cabela's Outpost store. It is very modern on the outside and nice and clean on the inside. It had a good selection and was well organized, but the quality of JCP's clothing has gone down since they introduced their new pricing guidelines. Shopping here is kind of like shopping at Walmart. I even had the great pleasure of a 4-5 year old boy crawling under my dressing room door as I was trying on clothes. That's no fault of JCP's, but still doesn't do much for the peaceful retail therapy I was looking for. However, there is a Sephora, which has all sorts of great quality makeup, skin care products, and perfume, so that earned them some points. Take it or leave it.
