PUEBLO: Run past this place. Do not get your hair done here. I have always gotten my hair done at other Penny's salons with great results. That day was the first time I had my hair done at Penny's in Pueblo. I wanted a simple haircut with coloring to cover grey. A color was applied to my hair and it was totally too light. I previously told the girl I wanted a dark brown. She said she would have to dye it again because there was something wrong with the dye they used. She said "the same thing happened last week! She went back and mixed more. The color was better but washed out in a week and left my hair dryer than the Mojave desert! Then........she took to my head like Edward Sizzorhands! She left the front long and cut the back really short. I wanted to cry but I paid them, (even tipped her because I was one the brink and didn't want to make a scene). My hair looked crazy!!! I went to go get my nails done at a different place and was asked by another hair dresser who was getting her nail done as well, if "I wanted her to fix my hair"!! Not kidding, it looked so bad she felt sorry for me. Run..............do not stop!
Scratched and bent my watch. Took 1hr to purchase a new watch. Only One person on staff. When taking a link out for fitting, she bent multiple pins in the links, scratched the watch link itself and put the band on backwards twice. The lady couldn't figure out how to put the band on properly the third time plus it was scratched and bent so I returned the watch and left with nothing.

I have been stressing so much on finding a good hair stylist that really knows curly hair and she's here. Jimmi is amazing and understood how my hair worked and how to cut it right. She's very sweet, nice and even scrunched my hair to finish it off while it air dries...I almost cried.
The vibe of the salon is very welcoming and if you listen closely, you'll hear the sounds of life advice and hair dryers. Besides getting lost in the hall of mirrors when u walk into the area, this salon is great and the stylists are friendly and very talented.
When I first got there I was ready to give this place 1 star....But the awesome customer service changed that.
Went here for family portraits and ran into the first problem. The "waiting" room. The waiting room barely fits a family let alone 3 families. The location in the store is terrible. You have every passing customer walking by staring at you and your family squeezing into a 5x5 waiting room. Privacy is pretty much out the window. So we made a appointment....they were busy so we started late... no problem. The customer service was awesome and very supportive to my family and my kids. Everybody was professional and patient. Took about 30 mins and we were done. It was a little pricey we spent about $100 for a few quality pictures. So not the cheapest place in time. But I had a gift card so why not.
The store is super super organized. It has a sephora, a Disney section, a photography section, and a home goods section.... what more could you want. Only negative is the pricing
