JCPenney in Madison, WI

I have shopped at JCP my entire adult life. Today was the last time. I tried to return a costume jewelry necklace 2 days after the 60 day window. The manager wouldn't allow it. Had my receipt. Then I had an online order. They gave me one of my two bags. I went back to tell them and the customer service rep accused me of lying only to find the second bag in back. Meanwhile Kohls is across the parking lot who has a great reputation. I hope your store goes dark.

This location is one of the best. Staff is very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. Excellent deals in a clean and well organized store.

I give up. Corporate won't improve. The staff here ain't trying to do better. No one ever asks if you'd like your receipt emailed, printed or both. This is so crucial as returns are slowed down with the archaic process in place. #IHateItHere and will wean myself off this dying company.

The prices are good and the selection isn't bad, but the dressing rooms are disgusting to the point that I didn't want to hang up my clothes in there. There was half-eaten candy on the floor, the dressing room doors were black in areas, and the floor looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a week. Besides that, it was difficult to find help and the representatives that we did ask were very short, not really saying much in the way of helpfulness.

This is a review of JC penny's customer service. i went to place an order with JC Penny's and it was to be delivered by Dec.22th. I made one change and the computer said it would not be delivered until Dec. 27th to 29th. I spoke with their very helpful customer service. They obviously don't have any concern for the customer and refused to help me. They could update the shipping for me but even though I have bought many orders this Christmas they do not care if they lose a customer. I always like JC. Penny's but now I am disgusted. I spent a lot of money on previous orders but will have to ship through someone else.
