Studio Z Salon/TanSpa in Madison, WI

The girl that cut my hair was nice but she did not cut my hair in layers that made sense. It was like she made three shelf layers but didn't blend them together

I would rate this salon a 0 if I could. Clearly it does not value their customers. My gel manicure started peeling within 24 hours. If the poor quality was not bad enough, when I called just to get a couple of nails fixed they couldn't work me in. Really? I paid $66 and you can't figure out how to fix your bad application? My advice: don't waste your money at Studio Z.

I have been going to this salon for over a decade, for haircuts and color, manicures, and pedicures. I am ALWAYS happy with the staff and their work. I see Todd for everything hair and Nikki for nails, they are both friendly and highly skilled. They make me feel beautiful and well-groomed and I've received many compliments on their work. The salon itself is clean and attractfive, reception staff are helpful. Studio Z is a great salon!

Huge recommendation for Hair Designer Jasmine!! A haircut from her feels like a spa day and you come out looking red carpet ready! I got my second cut from her yesterday: the last one I received from her gave me weeks and weeks of good hair days. Studio Z in general has a friendly vibe, and does great work. They also have a fun little boutique in front of the store. I may be shooting myself in the foot telling people how wonderful Jasmine is, but I think it would be wrong not to share the news of an amazing haircutter in town!

This is unfortunately the second 1-star experience I've had at this salon due to a stylist calling out for the day with zero communication provided to me. I arrived at the salon early and was told in person. Salon claims an email was sent however I received nothing in my emails - even though I receive every confirmation for appointments. I even checked my email in front of the associates. I did l request a credit to my account for my March appointment with Tammy and neither front desk associate could be "authorized to issue a credit". The customer service at this salon is horrific when a stylist calls out. Today is Presidents Day and I was off of work so planned dog day care in order to make a Monday appointment. I desperately need a cut for an upcoming work trip. This is not acceptable and unfortunate because the stylists that DO show up to work are penalized for the bad apples.
