J V Nail Spa in Harrisburg, NC

I went in for a full set. The one lady seemed very nice but there was another lady who ended up doing my nails. It was by FAR the worst experience I've ever had at a salon. During the process I told her that I wanted my nails short which she made a face and seemed bothered by that. Then as she was buffing them she cut my finger. A few minutes later I flinched in pain so much that I pulled my hand away. She replied with, "this is why I hate short nails." A few minutes later she cut a third finger. She finished my full set in 18 minutes. She didn't even put a top shiny coat on. When I left she said, "I'll be more gentle next time." I responded with there won't be a next time. I left there and went home and by that evening my fingers were hurting so bad. It was an awful experience, she was very rude, and my nails look pretty rough. I would highly recommend not going here. There are too many ones in the same area that are much better.
**Edit, I went to another place today and got them to fix the shape and smooth them out as well as add a shiny top coat.

Very rude. Called my teenage daughter a child while doing her nails, and insulting her. Also, tries to overcharge me u til I questioned it!

Victoria, Penny and the male employee were nice, polite and friendly. I called Saturday to schedule an appointment with Victoria for Monday and she forgot. She told me she could get me in 40 minutes later. I understood because sometimes people forget. She and Penny apologized. There is not a big selection of nail polish colors for the no gel  polish. What they do have are similar colors. Some of the polishes look old. Victoria nicked my toe and caused it to bleed as she cleaned the calluses on my feet.  She kept asking if better as she removed the calluses from my feet. I said yes only because I did not want to bleed again.  I got a regular nail polish pedicure and clear polish manicure. Victoria waited after she painted my toes to put toe separators and shoes on my feet. She had to go back and repaint some of my toes.  By the end of the day some of the clear polish on my hands came off. The lotion or oil used on my feet and legs caused my feet to be slippery in my shoes. As I was going up the stairs at my house I tripped because my feet were slippery.

It is a very very nice place with nice ladies and they do a nice job!!!! The place is nice and the ladies joke around with everyone and very friendly. They do a very nice job you just have to be nice they're on their own and it is a little old so you must be understanding they're understaffed.

Before I start explaining why you shouldn't go here let me tell you I am a licensed cosmetologist. This place is THE WORST nail salon I have ever been to. All of the technicians implements were dirty. The entire salon was dirty as well, she burned me twice with the nail drill, and was very demanding during the entire service. I only asked for a clear acrylic fill in, which is posted on their price list as 18 dollars. The entire service was beyond terrible as I said above. I asked for clear polish over my full in and she said it would be more expensive. She then told me if I wanted gel clear it would be less than regular polish? So I said ok and she put it on, then she finished my service and proceeded to tell me it was going to be 41 DOLLARS, FOR A BASIC FILL IN WITH GEL TOP COAT, which she said would be cheaper. DO NOT GO HERE!!!
